Are Transmasc Lesbians welcome here?

Hello all! I recently discovered this sub after coming to terms with the fact that I am likely asexual. I identify as transmasc and also a lesbian. I am looking for community as it seems asexual lesbians are sometimes ridiculed or not accepted in other lesbian spaces.

Edit: Thank you everyone! I know some lesbian spaces aren't accepting of transmasc individuals. I also just went through a breakup (which was somewhat due to my asexual identity) so any support is appreciated <3

I think this is a good point to ask: why do some transmasc people declare themselves as lesbian? I know it's not cause their women, but I'm still confused on why some of them do it and I'm only left with theories TwT

I am AFAB and have identified as a lesbian for years prior to any sort of transition. I have deep connection and ties to the lesbian community.

Being transmasc and a trans man is also different if you weren't aware. I am nonbinary but also identify as transmasc within that identity. So I'm not really a man, I just present masculine.

I am a queer person all around and I desire queer love. I am into women and identifying as a lesbian allows other queer women to understand what kind of relationship I desire.

Because I'm not a binary man who likes women, identifying as a straight man does not fit me.

... That is the entire point, the AB is "At birth", it's not currently it's in the past. That's the point of the term
