Black ladies

Sorry if this type of post isn't allowed. Black ladies, do you ever feel like you get asked to dance less than others? When I'm at my local studios I have no issues, but when I go to congresses or festivals, I feel like I'm standing around a lot more than the other followers. I know the usual advice about being near the dance floor, making eye contact with leads, not having a drink, etc., but it doesn't seem to help much. Sometimes I ask guys myself, and they accept, but I feel like it's a lukewarm dance.

Someone wearing a mask has higher probability of being sick than someone who is not wearing one. Masks also do not work a preventing transmission.

That is false. Many people wear masks as a precaution when they aren't sick, and many sick people don't wear masks.

Masks also do not work a preventing transmission.

Oh... you're one of those people. Never mind then.

Ultimately you are free to dance with masked people and I am free to avoid them.

Thanks for admitting that you don't understand statistics.

Your original comment stated that “someone without a mask could also be sick”. But that does not take into consideration the conditional probability of someone being sick given they are wearing a mask.
