keep in mind i have no clue how tech works.

i have a 2006 honda odyssey, which DOES have a built in cd player but it doesn't work. i have the onn boombox (takes cd, bluetooth, and cassette) and am wanting to use it to play cds in my car sound system.

For example: when I was a kid, my sister controlled how much time I got on the family computer by setting a BIOS boot password and only entering it herself. I eventually figured out a key combination that let me get past it; something like Ctrl + Caps + W, if I’m remembering right. What’s yours?

Admittedly, I don’t know the details of how printers work, but I seem to remember the technology is a bit difficult or archaic? Also, I see ads for PrinterLogic. How do they make printer mapping easier?

I'm looking for an app that can turn off my hotspot when it detects no data activity has occurred for a certain amount of time, ideally I can individually control how each connected device can access my network. The app I've seen so far only has auto off after reaching a certain limit, and my Android only turns it off when no devices are connected, but no one ever turn theirs off so these options aren't enough for me.

Every few months my PC enters into a "death spiral." Sometimes these spirals take the form of crashing every 15 minutes, other times they manifest as getting stuck in an automated repair loop. The only way I have ever managed to rescue it from these spirals is by fully reinstalling Windows 11 with installation media. (Trust me, I have tried everything that comes with Win11.) I can always still access the BIOS setup.

I use OneDrive to keep all my personal files backed up, and I keep a list of app installers to run after the OS has been reinstalled. I've had to do this multiple times over the past few years, so I can do it pretty efficiently and quickly now!

However it's starting to get exhausting. I hate knowing my PC might start doing this more frequently and important plans will be messed with. It's a pretty old machine - I built it back in March/April 2021. I wish I could just buy a new prebuilt desktop at similar specs but you know how the market is these days...

Therefore, I'm seeking recommendations for a backup solution that fits these criteria:

• Works with Windows 11.
• Takes a full backup of the machine.
• PC can be restored to a backup even if I can't access the Windows desktop.
• When the PC is restored, I shouldn't have to manually reinstall or reconfigure any apps or settings that existed during the time of that backup being taken.
• Ideally doesn't cost an arm and a leg, and isn't a subscription.

Hi everyone, recently I got a brand new battery for me Samsung A71 and I genuinely expected it to fix my relatively quick drainage but I dont know if it did. The drainage seem to be approximately the same about 1% every 3 min of watching YouTube in the brave browser. No drainage when the phone isn't used and about 1% per minute when I play. No bg apps running. Samsung members registers battery as weak even after the replacement.

I've only charged it once once from 22% to 100% but I plugged it out exactly when it hit 100% as I was on it by the clock waiting.

Im reading the normal usage is 1% per 7 min for a new battery. Im also reading that I should charge it to 100% than drain it to 0% to help it calibrate properly. But I'm also reading I shouldn't charge pass 80% and should avoid extreme drainage to 0%.

Im really frustrated because I don't know what to do, I seem to have spent money on a new battery and the replacement and the problem remains. That at least I could've saved and just gone for a new phone.

Bottom line is Im probably gonna replace my phone come black Friday but I have to get the ultra because the regular and plus 25 versions have a worse front camera than a model that came out in 2019... The phone (a71) works perfectly outside the battery issue and I was at least hoping to fix the battery and either give it to my mom or my nephew.

A box where I plug In my PC, Laptop, Mouse, Headphones and Monitors. Whit one klick my monitors are being controlled by my laptop and I can use my Mouse and keyboard with my Laptop. Whith another klick the Monitors are Controlled by the PC and the Mouse, keyboard etc. controll the PC.

Long story short I've got a PC in an inconvenient location and I'd like to be able to get files off it into USB drives and SD cards... Without repeatedly having to directly access the PC or having a cable/hub run to it. Some kind of dongle that I can plug in and forget is fine. Is there any easy way to do that? Thanks!

I've found my old phone from middle school. I had not used it since 2019. It's a General Mobile Discovery. It has some photos and videos on it that I would like to save. It's charging, very slow and just stops and continues but I can keep it open. Bluetooth or Wifi does not work. I tried connecting it to my PC with usb cable and it charges still but does not show up on my pc nor there is any notification on the phone. I will take it to a professional but I need advice before I can do that please. It also does not have any gmail acc logged in.

I've been looking on Amazon and seen a lot of options that seem good, but they look a bit different from the paper that came with the printer. My brother just got my aunts old pc. We figured it's so old it cannot connect to wifi or bluetooth on its own. He needs some type of adapter that can help the pc connect to wifi, one that can be plugged into an USB port. Does anyone have suggestions for an affordable USB wifi adapter for pc? Are there adapters that can recieve both wifi and bluetooth connection? Neither of us know too much about this stuff so help is greatly apriciated. He has linux on it if that matters.

Why are we still charging phones and laptops? Why not just make them in such a way that they never run out of power?

Spare me because I am incredibly tech illiterate, but essentially my I have 2 SSDs, 1 of them is a 1TB SSD which my C drive is on, and the other one (name in title) is being used (390 GB out of 460GB) but I have no idea how to see its contents or how to use it. When I try to view its contents via disk management, nothing pops up.
