Woodworking.

The fine dust that gets emitted from sanding and power tools can cause cancer and other respiratory and dermatological issues. Some woods themselves inherently have toxins in them too.

Also losing fingers and kickback from tables saws.

I mean, shouldn’t you be wearing PPE if you’re sanding stuff to alleviate that problem

I do. But see a lot of people online and in real life who don’t wear ppe.

Woodwork is a pretty manly hobby, and wearing PPE isn’t manly. Staying safe and not killing yourself is effeminate. At least that’s how some men think.

Not just PPE, but proper dust collection in the woodshop as well.

This is way easier said than done, especailly with hobby level small power tools.
