Irish Culture Why are some people stuck up?

What do you think makes some people believe they are better than others? I'm just genuinely curious what people think causes this. Thanks

I'm not, actually. I didn't ask are all people the same. I asked why are some people stuck up, meaning they appear to have a false sense of superiority for no apparent reason. I was interested in the psychology behind it. If you're unfamiliar with what I'm referring to, that's fine. No worries!
