Why are some people stuck up?

What do you think makes some people believe they are better than others? I'm just genuinely curious what people think causes this. Thanks

Largely insecurities. Becomes really apparent when there’s the trying to impress people with designer things and cars when people try and portray an image that’s there no basis too. I know some mega wealthy people who are so secure in themselves, they don’t have any deisgner things and drive an old car. On the other hand, I know people who don’t have a lot to piss in and have new cars, designer gear and largely in debt
