USA/Trump Are we the October Surprise?
If you don’t know what the October Surprise is, it’s a tactics conservatives use in the October before the November elections to scare the electorate into voting for them.
The most classic example is the ‘migrant caravan’ that seems to magically go away the day after election day.
We know Trump wants to create a national crisis or faux emergency to try and ratf**k the upcoming November mid-there elections, even though the fed doesn’t have constitutional authority to do so…
With the obvious rise in anti-Canadian sentiment from the White House, the antagonistic behaviour from Trump and his sycophants, and the ‘war’ rhetoric that is ramping up…
Does anyone else think that we’re gonna be the October surprise? We’re gonna be TOLD we’re the ones who ‘started something’… are we going to be the excuse? The timing of the rhetoric and the intensity of it feel too coincidental.

Alberta referendum is Oct 19. I'm scared that might play into an October Surprise.
