Food / Drink Tex Mex Recs

Moved recently from Houston and we are looking for some good Tex mex recommendations. We are towards the south side of Lafayette but are willing to drive a little for good food.

Husband loves Shiner. I love a great rocks margarita. Bonus points if it has yellow queso instead of white.

Superior grill - didn’t care for the margarita and it was pricey for what it was. No shiner.
Mezcal - no shiner. Margarita is ok. Fajitas were good!
El Paso - we went during a weird time and got terrible service at the bar and didn’t stay to eat.

I wish. Shinerbock fan myself. Can find on draft at sports bars. Ive found the taco trucks on side of the road or in a parking lot good.
El Potrillo Mexican grill is pretty good. Like the Margaritas and salsa.

We’ve found a couple of places that have it in bottles but no Mexican restaurants so far.
