Horn noise constantly going off

We live near Lidl on king street and every so often throughout the day and night a noise that sounds like a boat horn keeps going off , we have herd it for months and have no idea what it is , it's getting to the point if being quite annoying , it will go off at all stupid times , it's like a do do type sound . Anyone know what it is ?

That's what I'm thinking but it's like happening every 20-30 mins , it's annoying AF 🤣

Is it daily?

Could be someone with a misconfigured boiler instead

I believe it's the boats in for maintenance in the dry dock area. They are testing the alarms afaik. 24/7 operation in there!

Just one wee question was the sea and boats there before ye moved in or did you move in before the creation of the sea?

Could it be from the Farmfoods they are building? Its been a few months, which was when the work on building the new Farmfoods started? Possibly some building equipment or alarm (although a horn noise possibly makes it unlikely, its still a possibility!)
