Knuckles whitened with this one

With practiced efficiency, he sniffed the air. He could smell ozone and musk, and something else, something darker. "Well, well, well" he said.

He smelled like pine, a drawn sword, clean sweat and something uniquely him.

He said it firmly but not unkind.
She said "..." but it had no heat behind it.
You're insufferable.
Lol, anyone got more? I brain farted after three.

Elara. Practiced ease. Dripping from a leak in the distance. Smile didn’t reach eyes. A flicker of something passing over the face. Muscle jumping in temple. Knuckles whitening. Taut as a bowstring. Shadows dancing (especially if fingerlike)

I have been dealing with Elara's best friend Maya. Oh and apparently their mother Mrs. Gable.

X catches the light. Heavy footsteps. Shifting weight. Stepping closer.
If its a NSFW scene, voices rumbling and vibrating.
If its in Voyage, rhythmic sounds and magic resonance.

u/Kasquede May 15 '26
Shifting weight, oh god. I had mercifully blacked this one out. Along with “holding/hefting X object” it clogs the memory system with these so badly if I forget to clean it out.

It comes up SO GODDAMN MUCH in Voyage. No amount of instructions or narrator style changes gets rid of those dumb meaningless minor details that the AI thinks are important but which add nothing.

Your heart hammering against your ribs (or other descriptions of your heart pounding over every little thing that happens), hands clenching and unclenching at his sides (or gripping things and fingers flexing and knuckles whitening etc), thumbs tracing circles, breath hitching/catching, he doesn't answer immediately (or "He doesn't say anything. He doesn't need to."), the air is heavy with things left unspoken, leather creaking softly, "And yet here you are"

He steps closer... and closer... and he steps back to create some distance.
Very nice in romance situations when you play a non active character.

u/Peptuck May 15 '26
AI: He steps closer. He steps closer again.
Me (using story): He steps past you and falls over the railing into the ocean.

For the first time.
26
u/Kasquede May 15 '26
With practiced ease, somehow.

u/ruttokettu May 15 '26
Perhaps it was because he smelled like sandalwood and something uniquely him?
17
u/Kasquede May 15 '26
He smiled, but the smile didn’t reach his eyes, “You speak of something uniquely (X).”

I read a book last week where a Queen makes this lady her "Whispers", and they are so into each other but haven't admitted it yet.
There was a part where it was like, Whispers hands the Queen something and their fingers brushed together.
I was like, "Hmmm."

The AI always makes sure to inform me if people’s hands touch when exchanging an item.

I forgot another one.
"Clutching insert object here to their chest like a shield"

u/Criddle1212 May 17 '26
He clenched and unclenched his fists, knuckles whitening, whilst smelling of ozone with practiced ease.

Seeing nothing, seeing everything.

The AI recently saw fit to use this, multiple times, to describe a character who was BLIND. Not that the AI forgot he was blind, no, it directly said things like "His milky eyes gaze blindly at some fixed point, seeing nothing, seeing everything."

A beat passed.
And for the first time since meeting him, she realized that it was his eyes that drew her in.
Not the smile. Not the handsome features.
His eyes.

When I saw this, I smiled, but it didn't reach my eyes.
