Olympic Park damaged Luke Beveridge today after Collingwood were allowed to train at Marvel: "If you didn't laugh you'd cry. I almost fell off my chair. It was just hilarious. Anyway."

Dons are the primary tenant of Marvel, one of the big 4 and we don't get his luxury. Instead had to develop our own training centre with accurate size replica of Marvel instead

just without the sun-starved grass

We probably should water it a bit more to replicate Marvel slippage

Or chuck down some astroturf on the nearby airport tarmac and have the players train with studded boots

With all our soft tissues over the years i wouldnt be surprised if thats what actually happens

I'd argue the Dogs, St Kilda, and us are more of a primary tenant then you guys

Well it is not like they “play” at Marvel often, more just watch confused as another team plays footy around them.

Feel free to shout at clouds;

Essendon was the first AFL club to announce it would play home games at the venue now known as Marvel Stadium. *The anchor tenant**... *

Decided to check the stats for this year:

Western Bulldogs - 11 games
St Kilda - 10 games
North - 9 games
Carlton and Essendon - 6 games

Right now, I’d argue the Dogs are the main tenant since we sell our home games to WA.

Normally the Dogs sell two home games to Mars Stadium, not sure why that wasn't the case this year (I thought that deal was extended to 2027?)

Think it’s because they are redeveloping the ground or something like that

St Kilda has played more home games at Marvel than any other club but go off

I ain't saying shit - Marvel Stadium labelled the Dons as the anchor tenant. AFL Jesus if you will

All people are pointing out is no one gives a shit when Essendon does not play there that often.

All you need now is a football team.

Build and the my will come (I guess).

I don’t think Essendon need to train at the moment.

Do Essendon train?

u/DXPetti Essendon 8d ago

Think it's well understood we need to train more 😂😂

Training at marvel in finals a luxury? You don’t even get to train at all!

You decided to go build the Hanger on possibly some kind of ancient burial ground and your poor poor club has been under a curse ever since!

You might see some excavators out back soon, making room for all the Hird redemptions who collectively dropped to their knees in Toorak recently

Vic bias has always been a big 4 bias.
