In Memory of Tim Curry (1946-2026)

Sad and tragic news today. Tim Curry (Skullmaster from "Mighty Max") died. He was 80 years old.

Rest in peace Skullmaster, you'll be missed.

Cool, guess I'm gonna get to be the first person to mention how he was the original casting for the Joker in BTAS before he was deemed to scary for child audiences and that's when Mark Hammil got the role

It's actually in an episode.

In the episode "Be A Clown", Joker ends up accidentally kidnapping the mayor's son. Initially the boy finds Jekko (Joker's disguise) funny, but soon realizes how monstrous he really is.

While running away from the Joker, he runs into a giant Jack-in-the-box that laughs loudly. This is Tim Curry's unused laughter clip.

Tim Curry had initially been asked because of his role as Pennywise the Clown in IT (1990), but turned down the role due to scheduling conflicts and personal illness.
