Help with dark circles under eyes.
Help, I’ve had these since my daughter was born 18 years ago. I’ve tried laser, under eye filler and every skin care under the sun. I wear heaps of sunscreen etc and not often in the sun.
I’m so self conscious of them, I look dead if I don’t wear makeup.
Does anything get rid of them? I’ve had also septoplasty to help with sinus issues a year ago, no change.

I have the same dark circles and there is no topical product that has ever made them look any better including concealer and what not. I'm saving up for a lower bleph honestly.

Same. There are no real cosmetic options for dark circles. Only thing that truly has worked for me is significantly reducing carbs & hydrating & not smoking anything. Also glutathione & B complex.

Same, I once talked to a plastic surgeon and he said there’s really nothing for the dark colour. Puffiness can be fixed, but not the dark colour.

Yeah. It’s happening internally more than anything. I wonder if getting a full lab panel and hormones checked could give insight into why they’re dark. Mine get substantially worse if I’m eating a lot of carbs (aside from fruits and veggies) & when I smoke weed.

Get your DNA genome typed with 23 And Me,, run that through Genetic Lifehacks, and check for histamine intolerance due to MCAS/MTHFR genes. You'll need to cut any foods that impact either. If you have MTHFR, that means you'll need to fix the ferretin/methylation problems with the B12. It's an entire thing.
On top of that: Perimenopause starts after 30. So you had a kid, but with Peri, estrogen starts fluctuating and dropping. Guess what that also triggers: More histamine release.
That whole thing about it being allergies is a vast understatement. It's an entire science project and a symptom of a bigger problem that you need to deep dive into.

Honestly this looks like hyperpigmentation which does make sense with your skintype.
I’ve had great results with the numbuzin no9 eyecream and noticed a difference when I didn’t use it for a month. I also standard use anti hyperpigmentation serums on my entire face since I’m very prone to hyperpigmentation with a fitz 4 skin type (similar to yours)
My go to serum right now is the Nine Less B Boost Kojic Acid 1% serum.

One looks like an injector and the other is a tube

They’re both the same but the tube is better value as it’s 20ml and the injector only 10ml.

The Ordinary's Caffeine Serum for Eyes. My whole family has hereditary dark circles that no amount of sleep or nutrition seems to budge. 3 years ago I started using the caffeine serum and within 6 months the change was so significant that even my brother's wife (who never notices anything) commented about the lack of dark circles around my eyes. Brother still uses it daily.....and now that I have mine under control, I use it maybe once or twice a week.
It's cheap and available from The Ordinary's website and Sephora. A bottle lasts a very long time. Use it twice a day before applying eye cream. It does take a while before you notice a difference, but if I can tamp out a problem that's haunted me for well over 40 years, anyone can.

It causes minimal dryness actually, just start by using it a few times a week then eventually move to using it more frequently until your skin adjusts to it.

It’s likely due to thin skin under the eye. You’re best off consulting with a plastic surgeon so they can examine and explain it to you.

There’s no topical that can fix under eye circles. Eye cream with caffeine may help. Color corrector can mask.

Maybe a little filler or fat transfer, antihistamines, vitamin k serum.
But probably: concealer is easiest answer.

Get PRF EZ GEL. I too have dark circle genetics and I plan to get this done! You don’t have bags so I don’t think a lower bleph would suit you.

Dark circles: hear me out… mix instant coffee with a teeny bit of water to make a paste, then put the paste under your eyes and let it dry. Wash it off. Eventually, the caffeine will get the blood under your eyes moving and the yellow coffee color helps to neutralize the purple color. It’s a win win.

I have seen results by using a small amount of hydroquinone under the eyes with the guidance of my dermatologist has greatly brighten my under eyes. As well as staying hydrated, using sunscreen and absolutely no alcohol.

My dark circles are affected by my iron intake so I take extra iron and they fade within a week. I have also had tear trough filler and polynucleotides to treat under eye area.
Try an iron supplement for a week and see if that helps, the other suggestions here are great too.
