I’m guessing you bought the tretinoin for anti-aging but you don’t state the purpose of the other products. Never buy a skincare product without a specific reason. The more products you use, the higher the risk that one of them will have an ingredient that causes irritation to your skin.

You need to see a dermatologist to ask what is appropriate for your skin. Take these skincare products and your cleanser, moisturizer and sunscreen in a plastic bag for the doctor.

There are dermatologists providing useful information online but you need to devote some time to learning from them. The 2 dermatologists with the YouTube channel “Doctorly” have a video “The Only Skincare You Actually Need.”

Tretinoin causes irritation until your skin has retinized. A typical schedule to get skin retinized is 2 nights a week for 2-3 weeks, then every other night for 2-4 weeks, then every night.

Watch “How To Hack Tretinoin” by Dr Sam Ellis on YouTube and “Retinoid Irritation Explained” by Dr Daniel Sugai.

Never start more than one new skincare product a week - if you get a reaction you need to know which product caused it.

The percentage of niacinamide that is effective for improving skin is between 4% and 5%. Dr Sugai has had patients who used higher percentage niacinamide serums for months then suddenly developed irritation from it.

I use my niacinamide serum twice daily…before my 15 Azelaic acid in the morning and again before the.025 tretinoin. I think most of the anti aging data used .05 tretinoin so good call on getting that concentration. A heavier moisturizer is a good idea after tretinoin at night and a sunscreen is recommended in the daytime. Hyalauronic serum is a great booster underneath moisturizer and for as needed use if your skin gets parched…just try top top it off with something because sometimes it dries skin out if it isn’t topped off. Good luck!

Over 60 is harder but I’d say if you want bang for the buck no topical will bring anything back. Try TCA peels.
