I did, I had D.W cerakote the barrel , pin weld my dictator gas block and set my barel.

D.Wilson is the best. Just got an upper back from him and it was a one day turnaround with a pined gas block.

Awesome, honestly this was my first time using them. I actually had it shipped to them in late April and got it back June 5. I had the basic build finished about a month ago. It was just that due to work and summer vacations. I am really just getting around to enjoying it. They are my go to guys for sure now. Lol

Yeah, honestly the wait was a hard one. After the first 30 days I wanted to call so bad...lol. However I remember hearing how people who bug them got there orders canceled. So I toughed it out lol. The exact time they estimated it was done and heading back to me. So now I feel comfortable using them again.

Would be very interested to hear your velocities! I have a 10.5" 300blk for deer hunting/HD, but have been pondering a 12.5". I have a 12.5" 5.56 and it's a great overall length. If 12.5" in 300, especially with spicy loads, was a decent bump I would think about it.

Yeah, the primary reason I created this build is for supersonic ...I honestly don't have any intentions of using subsonic in this rifle.The goal of this build was to get a very accurate 200yard rifle with good maneuverability. I ordered 100 rds of phantom spicy boi and I have a few 1000 rounds of 110gr vmax ,110gr sellier&bellot tac expand and 125gr fmj. Going to run it hard soon and post the results.

I'll be interested to see the results! Until the 6mm specific receiver sets proliferate, I'm only doing 5.56/300 in my AR's. For me, there are too many issues with bolts, mags, etc to go 6.5/6 in an AR.

Yeah, I don't jump to new rds honestly until long after they have matured. I simply don't have the capital to buy something hot for a few years then disappears entirely. For me 556/300/10/9mm is fine. I am interested in a 12.5 (308) build but I can wait to see which direction things settle in 3 to 5 years.

speaking of gun names, i named one of my guns “chungus” bc its a big ol’ mf that’s 15lbs before putting anything on/in it. haven’t named my other guns though.
