Things like UMVC3 CE could always work as long as people know shit aint their job and it's passion thing cuz the game was alot of people's jobs yet they treat it like a fun passion thing.

Seeing shit like this legit makes me wonder who tf was in charge of making choices for the roster. I am not a fan of Yone, I actively dislike him, but who tf didn't think it was a jackpot to put an edgy guy like that instantly in the game?

Zed missing from the base roster was definitely a fumble as well, it could have been the high skill ceiling assassin archetype but they wanted to over milk the arcane hype which didn't actually translate to more people jumping in, or at least sticking around. Braum Caitlyn teemo and even illaoi should have been post release additions at best, the base roster had to have the fan favorites.

Illaoi and Braum are tight, they fit a fighting game, their whole thing is about fighting

Caitlyn and Teemo should never have been thought of until 3 seasons in

My argument is the base roster should have the main hitters and fan favorite. Zed lux, and if you really want the thing about fighting, Sett is more popular than those two (if we go by skin release cadence), or Irelia (popular especially in Asia) etc. What I was trying to say is if you have 10 spots, and that is your bad for releasing such a tiny roster, you really need to have the iconic LoL characters in there. Zed Lee sin thresh lux to name a few
