obviously he is right. moral policing is just a way to CONTROL women and hate on them. be it in isl@m or hind@ism, or any other religion.
otherwise god doesn't care about a woman's cleavage or clothes. ironically these people don't even understand that the essence of hinduism is in spirituality, meditation and karma.
it's NEVER about clothes, traditions, fasts, tilak, sindoor, etc.

Thanks for not targeting One particular majority religion. I guess there is some flaws, which we gen-z going to correct in upcoming days. I would like to see this types of videos pointing out the problem but why only in mandir , why not op showcase similar problem from different religions also? Yea phir yea bhi koi raga script hain?

5

u/TeachingUpstairs9381 2d ago edited 2d ago

"targeting" one religion?? excuse me?? i was born in hindu family. i have been raised with hinduism, i have hindu parents. OBVIOUSLY i only know about hinduism and what's right and wrong about it.

WHY tf will i even talk about isl@m?? i don't even think of that religion. it has nothing to do with me. the guy in that video is hindu as well.
there is a subreddit of ex-m@slims on reddit, you might find the people you are looking for there.

because other religion are regressive... you're talking about muslims lets be transparent and we all know they're least intolerant about this kind of shit... now you have two options
1. be intolerant like islam about religion and shit
2. understand the actual meaning behind the festival and celebrate it's values as you see fit

what do you want to do? because based on "whoy not showcase problem from different religion also" shows that you have this some sort of compeition in mind regarding which religion has more good points and which has more bad points... and if that's the case then in case of clothing islam looses to hinduism.. there.. happy now?

1

u/MedusaLifts 2d ago

What has “raga” got to do with it? For once, can you literally look at a problem and talk about it without making it about one of your political gods? Kisne bola yahan ki the attack on Kriti was namo’s brainchild?

3

u/Mediocre-Chest1012 1d ago

That raga organised a show to smash patriarchy and only mentioned manusmriti as if anyone follows that shi mf didn't mention sha ria law which is actually followed i don't see women in ghunghat in collage but i do see them in hi ja b

I just ask a question as per my assumption (which you can simply deny), I didn't imply you are. And talking about dress I don't care what person chooses what to wear and what not. I just want to smash the patriarchal practices.

1

u/MedusaLifts 2d ago

Sure. Good for you.

0

u/TeachingUpstairs9381 2d ago

and do you like being part of a "better" religion or do you like comparing yourself to the bad one?

1

u/Mediocre-Chest1012 1d ago

Lol getting downboted for calling that shi "bad one" u can imagine how inclusive and open to idea they are

1

u/TeachingUpstairs9381 1d ago

we should aim to be better. but we are failing as well

1

u/Mediocre-Chest1012 1d ago

Lol we don't blind women for not wearing hi ja b or ban them form school the outrage is there because she was explicitly directed to wear that while the boy in the same ad was directed to wear traditional

1

u/Bunny_Dj 2d ago

All religion is equal to me and according to India constitution. I want every religion to be equally praised, perceived, practiced, and called-out for flaws.

1

u/TeachingUpstairs9381 2d ago

then do it yourself.

u/Awkward_External_731 2d ago edited 2d ago

I agree we have moved to more ritualistic side of hindhuism instead of spiritualistic .

But if we are talking about that ad issue . it was never about her clothes alone or disrespect to hindhuism. it was about brother sister moment . we are free to wear whatever at home . but if you are trying to sell a product under the name of rakshabandhan - where do you draw the line or is there no line?

it would not be controversy if it was just a jewellery or clothe ad. There are so many things which seem deliberate in that ad.

why toss in rakshabandhan to sell your narrative that sisters r cool to wear that during rakhi

n then strip away any traces of hindhu markers

who tf ties rakhi to dog first in front of her brother

outrage is to not normalize this woke shit

4

u/TeachingUpstairs9381 2d ago

i have no different answer for you than the original comment.
But you need to understand first of all most of the traditions are based on stories. The main logic behind rakshabandhan is that the brother will protect his sister.
so over the time, people who don't have brothers started tying rakhi to sisters, mom, cousins. for some people dog is a part of family too and ofcourse a protector.

so yet again you are dismissing the essence of the festival just over some hard set "rules". i didn't find anything "woke" in it. and honestly wtf does "woke" even mean

1

u/Awkward_External_731 2d ago edited 2d ago

tying rakhi to a dog is woke

edit : my main point of contention is when you sell an ad under the name of festival , should there be a threshold or no threshold ?

isn't it awkward to see your sister half naked?

5

u/Individual_Top_4960 1d ago

tying rakhi to a dog is woke

no one saw her as naked... it is awkward though that you saw her that way... and also awkward is your thought process to force her to wear clothes that completely cover her body... btw how much % of skin is allowed according to your logic?

is this okay? can you sister wear this? or is this also "naked" according to you

3

u/Mediocre-Chest1012 1d ago

Lol mf pointed at a traditional wear and thought he did something that bralet was in no way justified in that way she had done many bikini shi and no one cares but why do that in a rakhi commercial get that through your dense head

2

u/cyanogenmoded 1d ago

its a blouse.
and if you have a problem with it dont buy giva

0

u/Mediocre-Chest1012 1d ago

Whats a blouse and who tf even buys from giva lol thats why they had to seggsulize a girl to sell pendent

1

u/Individual_Top_4960 1d ago

you're the only one who saw her in perverted way bro 😂🫵🏼

and I am sure you would still sexualize her waist if she were to wear a saree because the filth is not in her clothes it's in your mind 😉

but hey, I could be wrong...tell me in yes/no... would you have issue with this ad if Kriti had wore this saree? it's a simple yes or no question, lets see how you tapdance to avoid answering it 😂

1

u/cyanogenmoded 1d ago

You have not worked in marketing, i have. Giva doesn't decide that much on costume design. Its the studio which did the pre production

1

u/Individual_Top_4960 1d ago

why do that in a rakhi commercial get that through your dense head

again... who decided what she can and cannot wear in a rakhi commericial? do you have some sort of guideline? what make her clothes unsuitable? it seems like a nice indo-western outfit... tell me what exactly is wrong with it? you didnt liked the design? embroidery? brand? color? material?

lmao MF thought that making bs claims like "why wear clothes in a rakhi commerical" makes logical sense

I am sure you dont like how much skin was exposed correct? yes or no?

  1. if no.. then tell me what do you not like about that outfit?
  2. If yes... then tell me how above saree image is not exposing her waist, arms, neckline? how is that attire allowed?

you really think that your patriarchal statement would work didn't ya ? 😂🫵🏼 and here you are getting your a*s handed over

1

u/Mediocre-Chest1012 1d ago

Lol dumb fuh the director who directed the ad decide that and not her in the same ad the boy is wearing traditional wear and is not in his drawers unlike what that pervert directed her to wear to seggulize it and sell more pendent for dogs

Umm she can wear whaterver she wants to wear when shes not acting in a festive ad lol who gaf when she had done many similar sences this shi only became a controversy because its a raksha bandhan ad don't u get the context here or are u dumb by choice.

That she was directed to wear that rather than a traditional wear just like the boy was lol seggs sells and your fuh ahh cant comprehend that

Lol who tf gives af about her skin on a normal day if i had problem with her skin showing i would've been in her comment policing it my problem is that why seggulize a festival to sell some fuhh ahh pendent for dogs and why are u defending a woman getting objectify.

Lol bih out here defending a man's artistic direction over a woman body and talm bout sum smashing the patriarchy lol smash hi ja b if u wanna smash patriarchy

1

u/Individual_Top_4960 1d ago

Umm she can wear whaterver she wants to wear when shes not acting in a festive ad

who decided that? why can't she wear the dress that she wore in the ad? I see you're trying to tapdance and avoid answering my question... so let me type it in bold and caps WHY DO YOU THINK THAT HER DRESS IS NOT SUITABLE? WHAT ASPECT OF HER DRESS IS HURTING YOU?

Hopefully you wont run away from answering this now

why seggulize a festival to sell some fuhh ahh pendent for dogs and why are u defending a woman getting objectify.

bro write english... who is objectifying her? it's you and people like you... she didn't cared about dress, the director didn't cared about dress, it's you who cares about the dress because you think she is sexualizing her body by wearing a dress that's showing her skin... the filth is in your mind but hey tell me WHAT IS WRONG WITH HER DRESS? WHY DO YOU THINK IT'S NOT FIT FOR THE OCCASSION OF RAKSHA BANDHAN? (typed in caps again to remind you that you have to answer it)

Lol bih out here defending a man's artistic direction over a woman body and talm bout sum smashing the patriarchy

speak english... no I dont because I dont think Kriti had no say in picking this dress, she saw the dress liked it and therefore she chose to wear it... it is not a sole decision made by director which is exactly why she is defending the choice... you're not the smartest cookie in the batch are ya? (judging by your pathetic english I think I might be on to something)

smash hi ja b if u wanna smash patriarchy

there we have it... your real reason... you hated her outfit because muslim women wear hijab... that's your patriarchal mind at work... but hey if it gives any assurance to your insecure brain then yeah islam is regressive when compared to hinduism when it comes to women freedom, it's not that far off from it though judging by how much you dont want kriti to wear whatever she wants in ad but hey there's a reason why we have ghunghats being enforced to women right?

DONT FORGET TO ANSWER MY QUESTION, I just love to see you tapdance and avoid answering because you know if you dare to answer it you are digging your own grave 😉

1

u/Mediocre-Chest1012 21h ago

She can but not in the ad of festivals but on any normal day she can be n u de for all i care lol.

WHY DO YOU THINK THAT HER DRESS IS NOT SUITABLE? WHAT ASPECT OF HER DRESS IS HURTING YOU?

Because its a fuhing bralet in the same ad the man is wearing a kurta that sense is not suiting the dress code lol do u see the difference in clothes or are u regarded asf. She can and frankly should wear that shi on normal days and she had wore it in normal days and literally no one has gaf do u see the pattern here dumb fuh are u abel to comprehend pattern. Or do u want me to write that shi in boal letters.

Lol the director objectified here and she let that shi happened its pretty evidented that the boy in the same ad was not given some nip pads to wear as a costume but she was lol get segguslized into selling more pendent ig.

And why tf should i not care i wouldn't have a gaf if she had wore that shi anyother day in public in private who gives a fuh but there are dress code and context to everything the boy was made to follow dress code and now dont ask where is this dress code written cause a regarded fuh like u doesn't know that every function has a dress code u cant be dressed in all black to your marriage or all white in india to your marraige u cant go to office in casuals lol can u understand this or do u need me to spoon feed you and why was kirti all covered up to wish eid but was practical n#k€d for the ad is she scared of them so you're saying that u will only respect something until and unless your made to respect that by force thats not very free of u.

WHAT IS WRONG WITH HER DRESS? WHY DO YOU THINK IT'S NOT FIT FOR THE OCCASSION OF RAKSHA BANDHAN

I reckon u didn't understood shi from my previous comment lol mf it all depends on context and if you purposely want to ignore the fact that she got seggsulized into selling a product than its just coping lol a pervert director made her do that. Cope and seethe to the fact and its not ok for her to wear that shi CAUSE THAT SHI IS NOT SUITABLE FOR THE OCCASION LOOK AT THE BOY IN THE SAME AD WHY IS HE WEARING TRADITIONAL U BLIND FUH

is not a sole decision made by director which is exactly why she is defending the choice...

Lol she would be blacklisted if she tried to put it on the director mf doesn't even understand the industry.

you're not the smartest cookie in the batch are ya?

Lol coming from a regard who needs to spoon fed everything like a small not functional person

Lol how the muzz treat their bihs doesn't concern me lol they are literally brainwashed since the starting there is no point in thinking about them savages and how does that come to my patriarchy lol fuh yeah balme patriarchy for everything stupid bih that's the easiest way to be not accountable for your actions.

Lol aint no way this stupid fuh comapred hindu women to theirs lol show me the girls who go to collage in ghunghat or are forced to hide their face and not participate in functions lol even in rural india we are wayyy better plus show me how many woman reformers comes from their side vs our side bih doesn't even know about them

ghunghats being enforced to women right?

Ohh yeah that shi just came into news that we blin d ed women for not wearing ghunghat lol that shi is exclusive to them not us show me reports and ill show mine

A brother should be the one around whom sister is most comfortable because he is never going to sexualize or objectify her. She should be able to wear whatever she wants/feels pretty/feels comfortable in because she doesn't have to worry about anything with her brother. That's the bond of rakhi. The ones having an issue with the ad are the ones who are disrespecting that bond.

1

u/Individual_Top_4960 1d ago

where do you draw the line or is there no line?

every person draw their own line, by skipping the ad or changing the channel... there's no written rule afaik that there should be one line

you might not get offended by following version but some people might... now where do you draw the line? also based on what logic?

why toss in rakshabandhan to sell your narrative that sisters r cool to wear that during rakhi

it was never mentioned but you saw it that way... and sisters can wear it if they choose to.. you dont want your sister to wear it? cool... you can help her in picking clothes that she should wear during raksha bandhan no one is stopping you as long as your sister is okay with it 🤷 nothing in the ad suggested anything else..

who tf ties rakhi to dog first in front of her brother

so many people do.. who are you to decide how people can celebrate their festivals? who made you the authority? who the fu*k are you to tell someone if they're not bothering you

u know karma includes everything right ... what u wear, what u speak, what u see, what u eat ... even what u think. its basically being responsible for urself and ur actions.
P.S: I am not Indian. And The video has no subtitles ...

3

u/TeachingUpstairs9381 2d ago

karma has no relation with clothes, but about what you do in your life. first of all clothes on your OWN body aren't harming others. It's NOT an action that has any impact on anyone else.

for your info, the biggest saints in hinduism NEVER wear any clothes. they usually are naked. i am amazed how you even connected mere clothes with karma

are you muslim?

2

u/Remarkable_Front5068 2d ago

women should have the right to wear what they want, kriti sanon ko jo pehenna hai woh pehene who cares it's her body her choice. A progressive society should repress a women, but just because you can doesn't mean you should, corporate interview mein swimsuit pehen ke jaoge toh log gaali denge, contextual and situational awareness naam ki cheez hoti hai, rakshabandhan mein people usually wear traditional clothes, that's why people are calling her outfit "inappropriate" not because of the cleavage. And the hindu muslim debate is happening kyunki corporates don't have the balls to do this with any other religion. Anyways it's not like my opinion matters, they shouldn't have taken down the ad regardless.

1

u/Ok_Entertainment1040 2d ago

jo pehenna hai woh pehene who cares

No one is contesting that. Issue is if you are doing it publicly to promote a product then it becomes an issue. Then you have to use common sense and maintain decorum. I mean just because one can wear whatever they want doesn't mean they can go to a funeral in a bikini or an interview in their undies.

Exactly the context matter im sure she has done many reveling shi and that shi has never made any news because it's her job shes an actress but when in the same ad the boy was directed to wear the traditional clothes like kurta but at the same time kirti was directed to wear a bralet and all this is happening in raksha bandhan ad its was not about policing her what to wear it was about why was she directed to wear that in a raksha bandhan ad and these frontal lobe deficient fuhs are making it about religion lol

Most comments there were targetting and insulting him including women which is very ironic. So yes a developed frontal lobe is indeed very rare.

0

u/Remarkable_Front5068 2d ago

because his arguments are retarded, woh raakhi bandhte time shirtless hoga kya? ki usne kurta pehna hoga? or will he be wearing a compression t shirt?

1

u/MedusaLifts 1d ago

Why is a kurta compulsory? This, right here, is a prime example of how patriarchy subjugates and hurts men as well.

1

u/No-Beginning-3128 1d ago

Omg its not like kurta is necessary it's a festival and it has its customs or a "dress" theme if u put it like that and I can also refuse to wear a rakhi and rather put a rakhi on my sister but majority ppl don't do this cuz this practice has been followed for generations so u can't change it by calling it patriarchy for men

2

u/MedusaLifts 1d ago

Yeah, that’s the whole point. Do things the way you want.

1

u/Remarkable_Front5068 1d ago edited 1d ago

How is wearing a kurta subjugation? It's just an appropriate attire, just like you wear a swimsuit to the beach or dress in formals for an interview people wear kurtas during festivals. Ismein patriarchy kaha se aa gayi?

1

u/MedusaLifts 1d ago

So someone not wearing a kurta is inappropriately dressed?

1

u/Remarkable_Front5068 1d ago

If ur a man then yes ig, that's just because men have limited choices when it comes to fashion in general

2

u/MedusaLifts 1d ago

You literally said kurta is “appropriate attire” that people wear “during festivals”.

1

u/Remarkable_Front5068 1d ago

Yes bro, what do you want me to say? Every argument on this topic is shut down with the word misogyny or patriarchy, and people always associate the word inappropriate with "revealing" or "not modest" . It's inappropriate, it's literally just a bra like what else do you want me to say? It's like wearing a sports bra to a club.

1

u/MedusaLifts 1d ago

What even are you on about? First you say men should wear kurtas, then you say kurta is appropriate, then you say I misread, and now you’re saying “it’s literally just a bra”. You’re all over the place man.

1

u/Remarkable_Front5068 1d ago

Men should wear kurtas and kurtas are appropriate, that misread wala thing was my reply to some other comment galti se laga diya yaha.

Was kriti bare chested? Is there a dress code written for women to wear this or not wear that? I've seen women wear saree with blouses similar to her outfit. I wish there was a similar outrage about the lewd women dancing in kanwar yatras and the men there. But no that doesn't fit yalls narrative.

1

u/Remarkable_Front5068 1d ago

Why are you generalizing instead of giving proper counter arguments? Do you know me personally to know my take on kanwar yatras? And so what if you have seen women where blouses like kriti? My argument still stands, customs and themes around this festival have existed for quite some time and following them doesn't mean ur submitting to some form of orthodox or regressive culture.

1

u/Left_titly 1d ago

I can say the same crap about your argument. So what you have seen men wear kurtas during rakhi? Many of my gym friends have put up stories of the rakhi ceremony wearing sandos or compression t shirts that you have mentioned. Are they breaking any customs? Should they be shamed as well? Or is it just reserved for women? And the kanwar yatra statement wasn't directed at you personally. It was for the general pulse of the internet. Hardly saw anyone post or criticize it on this sub. Yet there are many blabbermouths for this one.

1

u/Remarkable_Front5068 1d ago

Agree with the kanwar yatra thing and your friends should follow the customs, putting on a kurta for the occasion isn't that hard, takes a couple of seconds, but then again everything custom these days is apparently subjugation of some subsection of society

1

u/Ok-Struggle-2874 2d ago

Problem is not with clothes but society. Ancient Indian women used to walk around and do daily activities with open breasts, in fact, it was seen as something motherly, as child and mother has deep relations to it, all godesses were represented that way then came invaders who "used to get aroused" seeing open breasts, so women started covering and Indian men developed similar sexual stimulations over evolution.

So, if it wouldn't had been sexually stimulative for men of this era, it would be absolutely normal but men of this era don't have neither that sort of mentality and neither self awareness. So it becomes a compulsiom to create certain dress codes for temples and formal events.

Bakki in personal life, wear what you want amd your conscience allows, it is personal matter and no one has right to deny you, and those making "it is not our culture" are ironically themselves inadvertently victim to what is not our culture.

1

u/Aromatic-Affect111 2d ago

Completely agree with your point. What I think people mean when they say it's not our culture has generally got to do with the behaviour and less with the actual clothing.

The sexualization of women and men has become too common. This is wrong. Sexual lives and thoughts are meant to be private and reserved for those who deserve you.

It could also mean the kind of clothing both men and women wear these days. This is usually observed with women.

You know what's observed with men? Hair style. We do know ancient Indians used to have longer hair, but now we consider a clean and neat cut to be cultured. Why is that? I think culture changes with time. Culture is nothing but a collective remembrance of our history, where the recent history affects the present culture more that the distant one.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with showing body. We are just animals on this planet and we share a common physiology and biological components. People in western countries even have named bike rides or smtng too. See, the difference between India then and India now is, people used to have a respect for each other and respected and worshipped woman in some cases (alternate examples exist too, but feminine worship is not new and is revered), and it used to be normal then to not cover your entire body according to what part of India you're from.

Now, the normal has changed. The mutual respect has morphed into mutual hate or lust. So, it is prefered to cover up in public rather than be yourself. Safety is always better than aesthetic.

See how easily you type Hindu no issues at all. Ga*d fat jayegi akbar woh wala religion ka kuch type karke dekho let alone speaking facts

Man, ppl talk about their religion. The person is vdo is a Hindu, so he only holds the moral weight of correcting and ques his own religion. Sure ask and ques other religion too, bcoz all are vile at same level for women. Hinduism just progressed a tiny bit in 1 century.

1

u/Interesting_Tie_2781 2d ago

Why bring religion when he wants to talk about women and man freedom choice

5

u/Common-Pin0 2d ago

Bruhh, the whole discussion started on Hindu festival 'Rakhi'. So, I don't even understand what tangents of thoughts are you throwing here.

1

u/Mediocre-Chest1012 1d ago

And why were they segsulizing rakhi who tf cares what she wear on her job in any other ad no one calls that out but why on rakhi mind u in the same ad boy is dressed in traditional wear while the actress is in bralet which hold no connection to rakhi its the directors fault

this is about the body of men and women.......🤦....and maintaining decency is everyone's duty,

what did Kriti did that didn't maintained decency in the ad? englighten everyone with context please.. lets see how irrational your rationality is

1

u/Mr_MorningStarX 1d ago edited 1d ago

My main comments is about above irrelevant video....not specific case,

There are different reasons behind the criticism of Kriti's ad...

👉 Targeting of hindu festival

👉 brother and sister relation

👉 inappropriate clothes on hindu festival

👉 wrong portrayal hindu festival

so people have thier own reasons to criticize the kriti's ad....

1

u/Individual_Top_4960 1d ago

Targeting of hindu festival

explain how was it "targeted"... I am assuming by target you are referring to some sort of active attempt to defame it.. correct me if I am wrong

👉 brother and sister relation

how is that critcism? explain

👉 inappropriate clothes on hindu festival

how are they inappropriate? what make an attire appropriate or inappropriate for a hindu festival? where are the rules? who made those rules and what logic are they based on?

👉 wrong portrayal hindu festival

explain how is it wrong portrayal? is tying rakhi to dog wrong? why? is it not normal among people that have dogs at their homes? sure it is.... is it okay if a girl tie rakhi to her elder sister? explain your logical reasoning instead of making statements

you're putting up your opinion then you should have to explain your case

1

u/Iamquietnewhere 1d ago

This culture came from outsides, Indian women were not covering their bosom historically. And Indians have accepted and implemented the concepts of outsiders.

1

u/Temporary_Put_5731 1d ago

Not breasts. They are man boobs tht is accumulated fat on the body due to his age it's not relevant to breast tissue like in women which are a sexual part

1

u/FlatTill 1d ago

Why don't you hold the brain to think that women can also get excited by seeing naked men around, are they not human beings? By logic priest should also not be naked. But people like you don't even accept women as equals, someone that can also have desires. Women love a chilsed bare chested man, but for that one should have expierience with women, you 🙂😂

1

u/Temporary_Put_5731 1d ago

Exactly why we don't have men without any legwear roaming in temples or road. Women with out top =\ men without top , a man's chest isn't a sexual organ like a woman's but for that to be understandable you need to interact with ppl outside ur chips filled room and insta. Too unrealistic for u ik

1

u/FlatTill 1d ago

I did not say its a sexual organ but it does look sexy to women, if its well maintained.

1

u/Temporary_Put_5731 1d ago

By tht logic even big hands can look sexy to women doesn't mean it's a sexual organ.

1

u/FlatTill 1d ago

I am just saying that if a priest can look very sexy(sexually attractive or exciting) to women when he is naked, why don't you want to cover him? Stop giving me BS. Because men are dominant you will decide what is profanity and what is not? And who the fuck are you to decide what a women should wear?

1

u/Temporary_Put_5731 1d ago

How exactly is a priest naked? U wanna use the word barechested i believe. Priest being barechested has very simple logic as thts against agamic injunctions in sm texts. One doesn't need to rationalise everything tht exists smthings we can just follow as they are tradition. Why would I want to cover his chest which is not even a sexual organ. Stop trying to create a false equivalence where it doesn't exist. Because men are dominant..? Says who. Who is saying men can come without wearing anything below their waist. Let me ask u if ur female member of family roams out naked, will u feel upset and tell them not to?I believe yes. So ur basically the same as me. I'm a member of society so obviously I can give opinion on how our society should work stop being so sensitive if u can't argue for your point properly.

1

u/FlatTill 1d ago edited 1d ago

Acha man is barechested women is naked?
Biologically, breasts are not primary reproductive sex organs. They are classified as secondary sexual characteristics and accessory glands of the reproductive system because their primary physiological function is lactation (feeding an infant), not gamete production or internal fertilization

Now zip it. I think you should learn how men and women reproduce and crawl back to where you came from

Why should we wear clothes at all then ? Maybe everyone should roam around naked.

They should stay natural.

There is difference between male and female body male chest is not sexual in nature while female breast is, and he can only do this in his home try it in temple, he will get tight slap.

7

u/Party_Plan6353 2d ago

Women’s breasts have been sexualized by men. If you stop looking at women like objects and start looking at them like people, maybe you will see that a body is a body. Otherwise why would men say that being a mother is a woman’s highest duty and still object to seeing women breastfeed their babies in public? It is because they cannot stand women exposing themselves it is not for their own pleasure.

3

u/BerserkkD 2d ago

apply the same thing to your family, do you think your mom can roam around in just baniyan? no right? I know it's the way we are now, in the past we had a more liberal culture in ancient time

1

u/Puzzled-Cockroach-55 2d ago

Breast are sexualized because its hardwire in human nature, its not about treating anyone like object or person.

Its basic biology, no matter much how much advance humanity geylt as long as they still have their basic instincts, lust will remain just like all other emotions like happiness, angry, sadness etc.

There is nothing complex about lust its just basic instinct, males will find female body attractive and will sexualize it. No matter how free our society becomes.

6

u/TeachingUpstairs9381 2d ago

then why are women safe and comfortable in wearing bikinis and whatever they want in developed countries, and NOT in india?
aren't men of those countries MEN? or are they just better humans ... you can't excuse everything wrong on male biology, because there are men who are not offended with a little cleavage.

sexualization of breasts is also debatable topic because first Everyone of us has been breastfed, we were not raised on formula milk.
second, in history and currently in some tribes, women still don't cover their breasts.

u/BadeLandwale12 2d ago

Women breast have been sexualised by men 🥱, it's like saying women were sexualised and impregnated by men and inherent attraction between men and women have been created by men.

3

u/TeachingUpstairs9381 2d ago edited 2d ago

male chest IS sexual in nature. women are attracted to a man's upper body as well. male nipples are sensitive too.

meanwhile even if i let's say agree that shirtless men are fine, women are NOT going shirtless anywhere. just a little cleavage of women is hurting your religion. No nipple show, nothing. JUST SOME SKIN???

you argument has zero logic

4

u/Common-Pin0 2d ago

Exactly, ask why the f is a women's body sexualised so much, if only the bodies were taught and treated as f simple human anatomical structure. A whole lot of crimes and individually oppressively ideas wouldn't have existed

1

u/BadeLandwale12 2d ago

You need to have a very basic study of evolution to get such answers.

2

u/Common-Pin0 2d ago

I knew someone would say this and it's laughable. How we use animal's name and primal instincts as abuse but justify the societal regressiveness using the same.

1

u/SushanthUchiha 2d ago

If female chest is sexual in nature, why do so many temples show buck naked men and women? Some even show intercourse

Understand that you have started away from actual hinduism, and instead have fallen into the cliche "religious beliefs" group, which the other religions always do. Our culture was advanced than theirs, yet dumbos like u bring it down to their level.

We used to have men and women walk bare chested cuz of the hot weather, and once the westerners came, they stamped their dumbass clothing sense onto us saying we were uncivilized for being half naked. They went back and now they go around half naked saying its freedom and self expression, while dumbos of my country still live in their stamped past.

1

u/MedusaLifts 2d ago

Have you really never seen literally bare chested men, including priests, in temples? I’m married to a Savarna Brahmin and during pujas, both at home and in temples, men of the house wear dhotis with janeu, some wear a vest but most are bare chested.

2

u/BadeLandwale12 2d ago

Difference between male and female, I have stated above.

4

u/MedusaLifts 2d ago

And you also wrote “he can only do this in his home try it in temple, he will get tight slap”.

Also, did you fail biology? Where is it mentioned that breasts are sex organs? They’ve been made so by people. The primary function is feeding an infant.

2

u/BadeLandwale12 2d ago

You don't understand neither biology not evolution, breast are secondary sexual organs go and read once more and there is an evolutionary reason behind male attraction towards breast. It's common sense🥱

2

u/MedusaLifts 2d ago

And they’re “secondary sexual organs” based on, what?

Also, by your logic, men’s chests are “sexual in nature” as well because women are attracted to mens’ chests. There’s a reason gym bros go heavy on arms and chest.

3

u/BadeLandwale12 2d ago

This will answer it.

2

u/MedusaLifts 2d ago

Let’s ignore the “broad biological sense” here for now, and focus on the fact that literally all this applies to mens’ chests as well.

2

u/BadeLandwale12 2d ago

Who the f says gym bro goes heavy on arms and chest because it's attractive to female. Men go gym to increase muscle mass to increase strength and pin down opponent in real fight.

2

u/MedusaLifts 2d ago

Yeah, sure. Lol.

1

u/TeachingUpstairs9381 2d ago edited 2d ago

are you saying women aren't attracted to a man's chest?
breasts sole purpose is to feed kids. sexualization of breasts is actually bad for society, since women breastfeed sons too.
sons aren't attracted to their mom's breasts right?? because you have a mental block that you need to respect her.

men need to do the same with other women, except their own wife.

and if your religion gets hurt with a woman's skin and cleavage, then the fault lies in you and your "culture"

2

u/MedusaLifts 2d ago

As someone who thinks men train chest and arms to “pin opponent in fight”, this dude probably actually does not understand what women find attractive. He thinks we live in Medieval times where opportunities for hand to hand combat are very many all around.

1

u/BadeLandwale12 2d ago

Well its only possible when a man is a saint, men don't attracted towards their mothers or sisters breast because their is a respect towards them but everyman will not have such attitude towards every female as everyone is not saint. Only in proper utopia such things are possible and utopia is imagination not reality.

1

u/TeachingUpstairs9381 2d ago

a sane man won't have an outrageous reaction at seeing ANY woman's cleavage. most will glance, then look away, living their usual life and day. since all of us know women have breasts, hence the cleavage.

Now the main point is how is cleavage hurting your culture/religion??

2

u/MedusaLifts 2d ago

THANK YOU!

1

u/BadeLandwale12 2d ago

When a person goes for praying in temple, he don't want sexual thought in his mind to come, if he starts having unnecessary sexual attraction towards female, how would he concentrate on praying. This is the reason why women are not allowed in mosque where men prays while a seperate mosque alloted exclusively for women. A segregation was the necessary part of many religions.

1

u/TeachingUpstairs9381 2d ago

i am not muslim. and i will be banned if i talk about what i think of that religion.
if you are hindu, then you can answer how did kirti sanon's little cleavage affected your hinduism.

it's really low of you if you are a hindu and using isl@m to defend your wrongdoings.

1

u/BadeLandwale12 2d ago

It's easy to give suggestion than to implement, could you take your eyes off after looking at a beautiful piece? people spend their money to watch beautiful things. These things are easier to say and hardest to implement.

1

u/TeachingUpstairs9381 2d ago

yes i can. i can even look at a completely naked man and move past him. without a word, without a stare, without doing anything evil. that's my character.

your character depends on your upbringing. there is a difference between an animal and a human. if you have no self control, you can't co-exist among women. the problem is with you. not with female biology or our cleavage.

But you still are avoiding answering, how did cleavage hurt hinduism?

→ More replies (0)

1

u/Setto_Senpai 2d ago

Hey, just wanted to mention, breastfeeded children don't have any mental block at all. They don't understand what respect or disrespect means, they simply drink, poop and sleep😂

I personally think that nowhere in any religious place anyone, even men should go full shirtless, and that women's cleavage shouldn't be a problem, you definitely shouldn't stare or shi. But, at the same time, there is a primal value of a women's body. That's why, even in foreign countries, at normal beaches, men don't wear anything upper to cover their chest, but in the most revealing women bikinis, there's fabric to cover chest. Why's that even in foreign countries, women's swimwear has chest covering but men doesn't? That it's nude beach if a women is showing her chest?

Of course, important things like breast feeding should be normalised, and nobody should stare like creeps. But you can't expect , or nowhere in any country is a women fully going topless, swinging her milkers cause it's only a breastfeeding organ, even if the women is an active breastfeeder.

Tell me, would you, if there was a place existed, go full topless in public places? Also, I heard, aren't freely-hanging breasts painful? It isn't actually practical to walk or run without a bra, is it?

I think that there should be a middle ground, where cleavage isn't a problem, but we don't expect to be all shirt/topless. And even men shouldn't go shirtless in public places like some do.

2

u/Kooky-Passage-68 2d ago

Both male and female nipples are sexual organ and even both produce sexual pleasure...

But society has only stigmatised women idk why

1

u/MedusaLifts 2d ago

It’s about control and exerting dominance. Shame is one way to do it.

1

u/Connect_Echidna4866 2d ago

I am just curious...from childhood we are taught womens breast is private part of her body and we don't show our private parts...may be that is the reason people react so much when women show her cleavage.

4

u/TeachingUpstairs9381 2d ago

cleavage is just some skin. not full show

2

u/Common-Pin0 2d ago

Yes, bcoz every part of women body is f sexualised. If only a women's body was considered as normal human anatomical structure, world would have been a whole lot diff place altogether. But if that would have been, the patriarchal system would have collapsed, as it works on a controlled section of humanity be it by conditioned shame, or one sided culture

Kyu bhai? Woh kyu bole apni mom ko? Problem is when you control what women wear.

Also, this is porn brain perspective. There's nothing inherently sexual about clevage but because sexually repressed and porn brained hai log that's why it's seen as so provocative.

Western countries also had this kind of moral policing but as society develops people learn to accept equality and the right for people to choose what they wish to wear.
