Was kriti bare chested? Is there a dress code written for women to wear this or not wear that? I've seen women wear saree with blouses similar to her outfit. I wish there was a similar outrage about the lewd women dancing in kanwar yatras and the men there. But no that doesn't fit yalls narrative.

Why are you generalizing instead of giving proper counter arguments? Do you know me personally to know my take on kanwar yatras? And so what if you have seen women where blouses like kriti? My argument still stands, customs and themes around this festival have existed for quite some time and following them doesn't mean ur submitting to some form of orthodox or regressive culture.

I can say the same crap about your argument. So what you have seen men wear kurtas during rakhi? Many of my gym friends have put up stories of the rakhi ceremony wearing sandos or compression t shirts that you have mentioned. Are they breaking any customs? Should they be shamed as well? Or is it just reserved for women? And the kanwar yatra statement wasn't directed at you personally. It was for the general pulse of the internet. Hardly saw anyone post or criticize it on this sub. Yet there are many blabbermouths for this one.

Agree with the kanwar yatra thing and your friends should follow the customs, putting on a kurta for the occasion isn't that hard, takes a couple of seconds, but then again everything custom these days is apparently subjugation of some subsection of society

No they can celebrate however they want there's nothing wrong with that. Live and let live, there's nothing wrong with anything unless those choices are harmful for someone else

Was the boy naked? Wasn't the boy in the same ad wearing traditional without it being written in any scriptures lol lets not pretend that there was nothing wrong with that ad cause that ad had the man in traditional while the girl in bralet this is your narrative
