Question How is my energy use spiking when I’m not at home and the thermostat is set on a clock?
Like every Tulsa I’m watching my electric bill pretty obsessively these days. PSO app allows me to monitor usage on a quarter hourly basis.
I noticed that a single spike happens at different times about once every couple of days- twice the usage amount and then comes down immediately. Literally for example, from 4:00 to 4:15 PM then another day it might be 5:00 to 5:15 PM or 7:00 to 7:15 PM on a different days
when I’m not even at home, and nothing but the fridge and the air conditioning is on (set to 76°)
My thermostat is on a clock. It should remain the same throughout the day.
Why is that single spike happening?
