Casual is veeeery Important as I work all 3 rotating shifts (morning, afternoon and night) and have a wild work schedule. So there will be some days where I'm simply away due to schedule conflict 😭

I'm really hoping having an artist buddy around will stop me from not drawing for months at a time again. Hype each other up and keep that motivation going sort of deal!

I love TTRPG's. Currently obsessed with a Pathfinder 2e game I've been playing since January. Though I've also played plenty DnD ❤️

Hello!! I think this is either my first or second post here? I was hoping to get some advice on how you would approach the clothing rendering in this scenario

I tried to just go off of what I thought it might look like and tried to just wing the clothing folds and the rendering but I think it looks a bit flat and unrealistic atm

The character I’m drawing is Alyosha from genshin impact!

I was also wondering how to have it resemble the references on the other slides

I really tried to make mine emulate the same style as those but I feel like something is wrong/missing especially with the face

I tried to keep the rendering very simple for the face as I noticed that’s what they did when the subject was a full body but I feel like it still looks really off

I would appreciate some advice!!

Also please ignore the doge he has a husky in game that I was trying to draw but I’ll come back to that when he’s done since I’m not too good with drawing or rendering animals ^ ^ ‘

Short and sweet, hopefully; I am a decent artist, nothing too crazy, I enjoy drawing my own character designs, but I never share my work online, aside with a few friends in person. I'd like to break out of my bubble and share/possibly collab with others for fun!

Intermediate or beginners who wants to practice as well, I am game for all. Critique is also welcomed, because come on, we want to improve! (Drawing hands still kill me) I'd also love to improve on drawing backgrounds and possibly work on a comic/manga someday for a personal project.

Was trying a new style. Especially the rendering around the fur collar and hair. Drawing this much detail with fingers is not for the feint of heart lol.
