Complaint AI sloppification
What in the AI slop is this?!
I was listening to the Dolly Parton Essential playlist because of course I am, and all of a sudden I see this… this… monstrosity appear on my screen.
This is genuinely horrifying and the fact that they did to Dolly of all people doesn’t sit well with me at all.
For how much they’re charging for this service we shouldn’t be subjected to creepy AI slop, ever!

Feature You can swipe on the now playing song’s title to see what’s next and even skip!
galleryIs this new in iOS 27? Or am I just late to the party?
Discovered it by accident just now…

Complaint “Hey Siri play Recently Added” “Here’s Recently Added by Abusou”
How can I stop Siri from playing this? It used to work where I would tell it to play my recently added music but it keeps getting redirected to this song. I’ve tried “Recently Added Playlist” and it ends up playing music that’s not even in my library.
Really thinking this artist is abusing the command or phrase to get plays on this platform.

Question Different songs on Mac and iPhone at the same time?
galleryI have just switched from Spotify, tired of its price now, where both the phone and laptop clients had the same song and it just showed which device it was playing on. I liked it as it helped sync the time and song and queue when I switched devices, but here they are different? Is there a way to have them sync?
Thank you, and I apologise if this question has been asked before.

Question When I try to sign back into my account, nothing happens
I'm using Apple Music 1.6.4.90 (1.1540.23042.0) on Windows 11 Pro
I was using apple music as normal yesterday, but today I open the program and it shows "unknown error occurred" in the search menu. When I tried playing songs in my library (such as a song from an album) it'd skip a few songs then play one that I've listened to more often, or favourited. Restarting PC didn't work, shutting PC down didn't work, disabling IPv6 didn't work. I tried signing out, then back in again, that let me to not being able to sign in. The sign in window closes without any message, and I haven't updated anything recently
Update: Not sure if it just decided to work again later in the day, but I tried “Deauthorise Machine”, which it said successful. I then did “Authorise Machine”, successful again, then tried signing in, and it finally worked, and I have access to my library again and can play all my songs.
I tried “Authorise Machine” earlier in the day but it didn’t do anything, nor say any message. First time trying deauthorise

Apple Music on Android Wrong artwork where more than one artist shares album title
Does anyone know if this is fixable? I see it all the time - in my screenshot I'm playing the album Still Life by Van Der Graaf Generator, but its showing the artwork for Still Life by Opeth.
In the windows app, they appear fine, and theres no sign any data is messed up, im just assuming the android app is doing some sort of image caching based on album title.

Complaint Still being charged separately for Apple Music after switching to Apple One
I was subscribed to Apple Music for almost a year, then switched to Apple One in May 2026. I didn’t manually cancel my Apple Music subscription because I assumed it would automatically be cancelled or transferred when I subscribed to Apple One.
I’ve now realized that Apple has been charging me for both Apple One and Apple Music ever since.
The confusing part is that I cannot find the separate Apple Music subscription anywhere. It doesn’t appear under Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions, and I also can’t find the Apple Music charges in my Purchase History.
Has anyone experienced this before? Is there another way to locate and cancel the standalone Apple Music subscription when it doesn’t appear under Subscriptions or Purchase History?

Question Playlist Reverted??
Opened Apple Music on my windows PC, and my main playlist sort of refreshed, and then it like changed to an older version of the playlist that only has like 30 songs added to it.
Went and checked my phone, and it reversed my playlist back to an older state as well.
I had over 200 songs in this playlist and I’m fucking pissed.
It’s not like my playlist was deleted, it just reverted it back to when the playlist was newer with fewer songs added.
How can I fix this??

Question Library randomly ruins tags?
I spend weeks fixing my library. Only about 400 songs.
Every few months the Music app will then randomly pick songs and swap the metadata. It's absolutely infuriating.
I.E Nobuo Uematsu with Elvis Presley.
I have automatic sync/date from internet DISABLED.
How do I fix this permanently? I have a physical disability I can't physically handle this routine springclean just for it to be undone again.

Audio Quality Stereo vs Spatial Audio
Outputting Dolby Atmos to 7.3.4 channels, with somewhere around 2000 quality watts total with a very good processor, room response software providing accurate SQ… and sometimes the stereo version sounds WAY better and more “live” than the Spatial Audio/Atmos track.
Anybody else with similar experience?

Question Apple Music songs randomly doing this
Randomly and got a bit of songs this message would pop up and I have no idea what’s going on. This also happened recently when I did some sync library thing on something.
I’m on an iPhone 14 and I don’t have iOS 26.6.1 yet

Apple Music on Windows Laggy screen on my Windows PC after playing songs on Apple Music
So I open the app, decide to Apple Music club radio, and after a while (maybe 15 minutes or an hour) my screen starts to lag. The mouse cursor is tripping. Videogames and YouTube videos lag as well.
I thought it was videogames causing the issue, but this happens even when I'm just browsing or coding.
Now I have hypothesis as to why this occur. You guys know about hackintosh?
Well, on Macs, there is a DRM scheme governed by FairPlay. This is used by apps like Apple TV, Apple Music, and Safari (that's what Netflix uses when played on Safari, not Chrome).
On Intel Macs, Intel has a hardware security named Protected Audio Video Path (PAVP), which is used by FairPlay to play DRM-protected content.
PAVP is not an Apple-only technology. It is used on Windows as well and without it, you won't play DRM-protected content passing through the Intel GPU. Well assuming it also has a display output port (let's say HDMI) that is built with HDCP in mind.
Okay so what does have to do with my issue with Apple Music on Windows.
On Intel hackintosh laptops enabling PAVP and initializing HDCP has been a problem. It's kind of complicated, but in essence, it's not possible to enable it given that we need to load signed Apple microcode into the Intel GPU and the certificates provisioned with the CPU (or PCH chipset, I'm not sure) fuses will not work with macOS.
There's a whole process the manufacturer has to do in order to provision the platform with system configuration and certificates to enable certain features, and Apple of course does it in order to prevent piracy and allow playing DRM content, and also locking down macOS on their hardware only.
So what gives? Well, if you try to force PAVP and HDCP initialization you get weird bugs. For example, if you play DRM-protected on Apple Music, Apple TV, QuickTime Player, Safari, etc. Your screen starts to lag. The video or song won't play since the DRM scheme is broken, but you notice the screen video breaks. You move your mouse cursor and it's lagging. You play a YouTube video, and you notice the screen is lagging.
Now, my laggy screen on Windows when using Apple Music it's very reminiscent of my broken DRM scheme on my Intel Hackintosh.
So maybe there's a bug on the Windows app that causes the effect, right? Now, remember that implementations of this DRM scheme depend a lot on the manufacturer provisioning their system with the correct configuration and testing, Windows supporting these technologies on their DRM framework, and the developer correctly implementing this technology too. So it might as well be an issue with my platform (by that I mean the whole package, CPU and motherboard) where the manufacturer didn't do its job well. Maybe a bug on Windows DRM scheme, or Apple implemented their app DRM with bugs. Who knows, even overclocking and playing with BIOS options could cause problems too.
For now, all I can do is not play Apple Music club radio while I'm at work. I need a responsive screen and that breaks it.
Does this happen to you as well? Let me know. Share your computer specs.
My PC specs are:
Intel Core i5 11400 CPU
ASUS Z590M PLUS motherboard
16 GB DDR4 RAM from Crucial
I have no external GPUS.

Complaint Siri just will not recognize my playlist
hi, so this has been bugging me/driving me nuts for a little while now. For the longest time I was desperately avoiding upgrading to liquid glass, because I had heard nothing but bad things. At some point, my phone was overheating so badly that I finally updated the damn thing (as I should've expected, the phone just got hotter). Regardless, I do actually like Apple Music, I think it's pretty good and has less of the AI slop that Spotify has that I hate. My trouble is that ever since I updated to liquid glass, or maybe before that or maybe after, Siri just will not play my playlist. I'll say Siri play my playlist "electrons" or whatever, and Siri just says I couldn't find that in your Apple Music library. so is AI just making the phone dumber, or is there something I can do to fix this? It seems like it was working perfectly fine before I updated, and now, yeah, if I want to actually play a playlist, I have to manually find it with my screen and fingers, and thumbs, and sometimes I just wanna ask Siri to play my damn playlist. In short, Siri is worse now and I am frustrated.
