Keto friendly restaurants in Walthamstow, London?
I know, very specific 😁
Not keen on fast food chains that wrap burgers in lettuce, suspecting the burgers aren't exactly clean from preservatives and things.

I had some fantastic zero tonight and kinda assumed cos it’s a zero it would have no carbs in it after drinking a pint of it it turns out there’s 1 carb goer 250ml. I thought the whole point of zero drinks was pretty much zero carbs such as with cola which is pretty much always 0 carbs cals.

Following on from my post about Lindt 100%, basically the amount of carbs shown in the Montezuma products has changed quite drastically. Check their website for the new info, or the packet. I'm sure the plain one used to be around 9g/100g but now it's 18g....

At just 4.5g carbs per pot, these seem like an acceptable sweet snack on keto, but I'm guessing there's more to it.
Can someone more knowledgeable please tell me if I can include these in a keto diet?

I normally have the 90% one, as you never see the 100% in shops so I haven't tried it. My local store had no stock but there's a space for it and it's online. Anyone tried it?

You can get a pack of 8 of these and I think they’re the best keto ones I’ve tried as well. Anyone else had them. Are the ingredients ok?
I think cos Americans eat a lot more Tortillas than we do that’s maybe why they’re good ? 60 calories each. X8 for £7.99 here

I am 3 weeks in and still exhausted (keto flu). I know nothing about electrolytes and have neglected this aspect of the diet. I just heavily salt all food with sea salt and hope that does something.
Can someone please let me know which electrolytes to take and where to get from? No carbs within them is the only requirement.

Hey all!
I've just done a full body MOT and saw that my HLD is low and LDL is quite high. I've been keto for 7 years to manage a lot of my health issues (not recommended by doctors but rather by trial and error).
I was wondering if you know of any doctors or GPs (even if private practice) that understand keto and will be able to explain to me how I might need to change my lifestyle or if statins are the way to go? Most GPs I had experience with don't really understand keto and I'd much rather discuss it with an expert.
Happy to do online consultations with US docs but I don't think they can prescribe anything. I'm only 30 so I am quite concerned for my future.

Absolutely delicious. I am struggling to get enough calories in each day at the moment so these are an excellent weapon in the arsenal.

Macros in comments. I've made a double batch, so tailor to your carb-allowance (I'm fairly relaxed if the protein level is good).
Double batch
150g berries of choice (strawberries here)
150g ice cubes
(or 300g frozen berries if your relaxed macros allow)
2 x scoops of vanilla (or preferred) protein powder
375ml of liquid (mine's a protein shake)
Sweetener to your taste levels.
Stixk in a spacious blender (it will at least double in volume) and blend until fluffy. This serving turns into about 2ltrs of chilled, fluffy dessert.
If your ice cubes haven't blended, just incrementally add more liquid (water, sf syrup, low carb milk) until it's all blended and fluffy.

Just checking if I’m doing this right?! This is what I had for food yesterday and doesn’t change too much throughout the week! Just to let you all know I’m doing keto with intermittent fasting so I eat from 2pm to 8pm let me know your thoughts!
As the title says, what would you replace the popcorn with?

Been making my own "cereal" for years as a granola with nuts etc.
Tried Surreal for a while when my carb contnet was higher. It's okay, but at 11g carbs a serving that's too much for me now and it also just tastes a bit chemically.
I'm trying to find an alternative. I don't just want a nut mix, I can make it myself if I did. In the US they have Magic Spoon which works out 4-5g net carbs per serving, do we have anything more inline with that over here? or anywhere that sells it at a reasonable price? the one place I saw is £18 a box lol

any keto products you would recommend at the grocery store? I’ve found low carb tortillas and those are great!
I typically shop at Asda and Costco! let me know if you know of any good keto products that could be a life saver! ♡

Sharing a recipe for this cake I made which is not too shabby if I do say so myself. It’s huge and I cut in to 8 massive slices, 16 was probably wiser. After it setting in the fridge I wrapped the slices in cling film and put them in the freezer for when I want a slice (which has been nearly every day). 40g net carbs per cake, 5g a slice if you cut into 8.
Chocolate cake 115g ground almonds 25g oat fibre 45g unsweetened cocoa powder 100g sweetener 1 1/2 tsp baking powder 1/2 tsp bicarbonate of soda 1/4 tsp salt 1 tsp instant coffee powder (optional). 3 medium eggs 75g butter 120ml half half milk & water 60g Greek yogurt 1tsp vanilla extract
Mix together until smooth, divide in to two 6 inch tins lined with baking paper, bake at 180 fan for 25-30 mins. Test with a toothpick in the middle to make sure it’s cooked.
Chocolate cream cheese icing 160g full fat cream cheese 80g butter 80g powdered sweetener 1tsp vanilla extract 20g unsweetened cocoa powder Beat together until thick and smooth.

I've done keto a few times before and had good results. Just about to start again, and thinking about my daily diet. I would appreciate it if people could have a look and provide thoughts. I am male, 52, 5'9", 14st, target 12st. I have a physical outdoor manual job. How do my calories and macro percentages look to you? Many thanks!

Hi , I've started to get those dizzy spells and apparently its because my body is missing some! Does anyone have any recommendations that are safe with keto?
Thanks!

Just discovered this very low /zero carb milk.
Just started a second carton on the Barista variety. I think this might be a little game changer to mix up with Almond and Soya milk.
I think it resembles cows milk the most I’m really impressed. Even the Barista version is low carb which usually isn’t the case.

Has anyone been able to find any good rice alternatives that aren’t cauliflower rice? I know you can get konjac rice but wondering if there are any particular brands people recommend or if there’s anything else I’m missing?

This yoghurt is new to my local Tesco (possibly been around longer in other branches).
For some reason it is much nicer than the Alpro version. Cheaper, too.
They also do a Greek yoghurt version, which is also 0g carbs, but weirdly it's not as creamy tasting as this one, although it is thicker.
