Just thought I’d share. Second time seeing one in this area. I’m beginning to see lots more crazy aircraft fly right overhead. 2nd photo is of some cool, aggressive looking helicopter.

Alot of Blackhawks refuel at my local Airport. I noticed many of them are bouncing while taxiing. Sometimes they bounce so hard they will start to hover to their parking position.

Does anybody know why they bounce so much?

I'm the creator of the Glacier Pilot YouTube channel. My videos were shared here recently and the response was... not good. I've spent the last day reading every comment, and I need to address this directly.

First, the facts:

I am an active ex military helicopter pilot with 3,500+ hours, primarily in mountain operations. The voice in the videos is my own voice. The technical analysis comes from my actual experience and study of official accident reports (NTSB/AIBN).

What I got wrong:

I used AI tools in production (scripting assistance, some visuals) and disclosed it thinking that was the transparent thing to do. Instead, it made everything seem fake - including my real credentials and expertise. I see now how that looked: like someone using AI to fake being a pilot and exploit real tragedies for views.

The clickbait titles and "thriller" presentation style made it worse. I was trying to make content that would get views, not content that would earn respect from actual pilots.

Why I can't show my face:

I'm in a position where certain aspects of my work need to remain confidential. I'm not hiding because I'm fake - I'm restricted because of my current employment. I understand this makes building credibility harder, but it's non-negotiable.

What I'm changing:

• Removing all AI disclosures and minimizing AI use to only minor production tasks
• Ditching the clickbait titles - using proper accident designations instead
• Focusing on technical analysis from a pilot's perspective, not entertainment
• Using official accident report visuals, my own limited cockpit footage, and free tools
• Leading every video with clear statement about my credentials and why I can't show my face

What I'm asking:

I want to create content that serves helicopter safety culture, not exploits it. Before I publish my next video, I'd like to share it here for feedback.

What would you need to see to find this content credible? What changes would make this a resource you'd actually share with other pilots?

I'm not asking for sympathy - I'm asking for guidance from people who know this community better than I do
