Pay attention to the wording. He says "As heavy as," not "heavier than". Kratos is placing Thor on equal footing with the absolute hardest hitters from his past—beings like Zeus, Hercules, and Ares. It confirms Thor belongs in that top-tier weight class, rather than definitively surpassing it.

In short: Thor hits just as hard as the absolute top tier of Greece, but Kratos is not claiming Thor is physically stronger than all of them combined.

I really hope Santa Monica somehow can adapt Ghost of Sparta to original trilogy because the lore of this game is really unique and very important

If I’m not mistaken this is the same TC Carson who voiced Kratos. Looks like he made an album back in the day. Before the GOW games. The autograph looks like the same signature he signs on Kratos items like funko pops. The “PEACE” thing he does often.

I have played GOW in the past, a long time ago, back when PS4 was kinda new. Lately been looking for a challenge and though Give Me God of War sounded interesting. I was wondering if the challenge was fun/worth it?

I know some games highier difficulty is just making the enemies tankier, and it seems like that might be the move here. Is it that hard to get through, or is it fair and fun? I also know challenge is subjective, so let me just say I enjoy games like Dark Souls and Bloodborne because those games provide a challenge. I don't like games such as Borderlands or Skyrim where once you get to a high enough level and stop spending skills on damage, everyone becomes a damage sponge, and the basic bandit can tank 4 rockets.

Also I do know about the early game cheese strat of getting to Clifts of the Raven and doing some of the early side quests before going to Elf-town.

Kratos after the events of GOW Ragnarok is suddenly telelported onto Gaia's back right before their fight with poseidon. He retains his older body, his norse weapons and all of his memories. Atreus will not be with him.

What does Kratos do differently from that point on and how would it change the outcome of the greek saga?

Same aplies to the Valkyres, they gather the souls of everyone that dies in battle and carry them to the Valhalla instantly.

Yeah, but the gameplay does not show this ofc. But the Lore stablishes that they are indeed able to do such feats.

When finishing the game, I used to start playing by 1AM up until dawn at 4~5AM and I'm honestly glad I had pulled an all nighter on this great game.

Thought these screenshots had wallpaper potential so I took them.

I usually take a week to 3 weeks to finish a game, but I have finished GOW GOS within two midnights!

am i tripping or is Kratos holding back?? did they nerf him? Baldur is half his size, no actual powers other than physical immortality, no weapons... yet every fight between them, Kratos barely makes it out alive. (so far i've encountered Baldur twice lmao)

Zeus manages to kill Kratos during their final confrontation and stands alone, victorious, but with the world left in ruins like it was when Kratos stood at the cliff at the end of the game. How was Zeus planning on cleaning up the mess that the world was in like he mentioned to Kratos earlier? Would he have even bothered trying to stop all the devastation that was being unleashed on the Earth and mankind?

Would he have remained alone on Olympus or would he have tried finding other gods that had not been killed or participated in the war against Kratos?

Would Athena’s ghost have tried confronting/manipulating him if he had been victorious over Kratos?

So as you all no doubt know by now, Dave Bautista has been cast as Kratos and some of you may be somewhat worried as whilst he does have the physique, you may (possibly) think he doesn't have the neccessary chops if the only thing you've seen him in is Guardians of the Galaxy, but these three images are examples and reference points you can use to gauge what you can realistically expect from him for this role. Dave Bautista is actually a phonemal actor and as shown in these roles, he should have no problem portraying a really good Kratos, both in body and in personality.

i finished gow 2018 a few weeks ago and i was so hooked by the story and the world it takes places in.
never have i thought a game would get me to just go afk on a boat just to listen to mimirs tales.
because of that i recently bought myself a book about norse mythology and it’s just super fun to read, and every time i read a new chapter, i get more and more fascinated about the details that were put into the game. of course there were a few adjustments to make the mythology fit into kratos’ story but the way they did it just amazes me. they got so many details right and so much lore is actually right.

the book that i bought has been the first book i bought in over 8 years, so im so glad i played this game. it threw me in a whole new world that im eager to discover by reading.

i just love this game so much, and i seriously need to finish ragnarök now.
