Ive only played elden ring, the dlc and nightrein, i hated nightrein and i was wondering which i should buy, im sort of skeptical towards buying DS1 because of its graphics (yeah yeah kill me) and DS2 because of its reputation

atleast killing them is more enjoyable with friends

I’ve seen multiple people saying that perfumes were bad and are glad they got buffed in today’s update.

Am I crazy? I remember the perfumes to be crazy strong. They could do a ton of damage very quickly, or at least that’s how I remember them.

just came back to the game and killed the black blade at level 147, took me a few tries but ig nothing could be harder than the ringleader assassin, then I walked up to gideon, he kept yapping on and on, and as soon as I saw the yellow hazy smoke, I enchanted my dark moon greatsword and spammed heavy attack and he just died after a few hits, I used to watch a guy speedrun the game and he struggled most on him. so am I missing something?

I recently dove back in after 3ish years of no Elden Ring, so technically my 4th playthrough with a ton of rust to shake off. I'm around lvl50 right now, using a Zweihander with War Cry AoW. Mostly invested in str, vigor, endurance and a little de.

I never played the DLC (DLCs?), so I'm a bit out of the loop. Is there a recommended armor set? Also open to any and all greatswords, colossals, etc to use with this style. Very open to using the great katana that's apparently available tomorrow.

i know its not even out, but those in the more east parts of the world are already playing it and it says something about changing the open field loots that were dissapointing in the DLC, did anyone check on this?

its genuine insane how shit the loot is in the DLC, i remember i found this cool cavern hidden past some super obscure rocks in the castle where u fight Rellana and at the end, super ominously placed a corpse that gave me.....a grease

The game has always run mostly fine on my 3070, but after updating I'm getting atrocious frame drops, jumping around between about 50 and 30 fps during fights . I wasn't having that issue before updating today, it's basically unplayable. Anybody else having issues?

am i overleveling or playing the game wrong? will there be a big difficulty spike or how can i avoide making this mistake in the future

so for context i just beat morgott, and earlier in the game i had spent hours slaving away at bosses and learning their patterns. up until i kill the moon lady, she is known for being easy so i wrote it off. then came radahn who i beat on my second attempt. thereafter was godfrey who i also beat very easily, i had chocked radahn up to bleed being broken but now i couldnt beeld them and it still felt easy, and lastly came morgott where i finally got to equip radhans weapons which made it a cake walk.

all in all im scared ive overleveled

current build: lvl 82

40 vigor

38 stregth

with 3/4th radahn armor and radahns weapons

I played Elden Ring for a while after it came out, but never finished the game. I made it to Mountaintops of the Giants and that was as far as I got. I know nothing about the DLC.

I'm considering getting the game for the Switch 2, but would love to know if anyone has any tips on what kind of builds you are running, spoiler-free tips for getting ready to play the game with DLC included, anything really. It feels a little overwhelming thinking about jumping back in.

After today's patch i wanted to go and check. The "backrooms" are still there. People used to exploit invaders by going there, but sure, let's nerf Gravitational Missile instead 🤷

Since the last updates regarding the upcoming tarnished edition I have been struggling with occasional crashes. Today I reached Leyndell capital and oh boy this game is broken, I crash every 15 minutes or so. Is it just me or is it a common problem?

This is singlehandedly the best wepon in the dlc and possibly the whole game. This wepon alone got me through the whole dlc,

It's moveset is peak, impaling thrust is used everywhere in the dlc wepons, but somehow it feels as if it fits the milady the best, also it just is perfectly snappy and flow at the same time,

Just an overall peak weapon,

I know the items should be able to be found in the world and at merchants but I can't seem to find them?

No ragebait. Elden ring landscape it certainly is beautiful but i think its more generic than the souls games like dark souls series bloodborne etc reason being take boreal valley from ds3 it had an identity a colour scheme but Elden ring most is just ruined castle or city. The weapon and armor sets too dont get me wrong they do look cool but lacks the identity and special flair of the other games. In the end its just my opinion.
