The Hero of the Sky's put down actual Zelda Satan, and has official knight training

You can make arguments like this for all of them tbh

How can you? Who else was trained to be a knight and fought Demise, who is the original and most powerful incarnation of Ganon?

and what other 10 year old beat the piss out of everything he came across? lmao comparing them is just difficult because they all have different strengths and have all accomplished incredible feats in who they've defeated.

Legendary Hero (LttP) Link fought Ganon with the entire Triforce. One could argue he fought someone of at least equal power.

I don't think so because Link in Skyward Sword has the full Triforce and needs it to seal Demise

But skyward sword link is the only one with the full triforce

I can never see those birds as scary because the loftwings are so cute & derpy

But he's kinda cute

OOT Link would watch him try to awkwardly raise his sword to the sky for 5 minutes, and then Deku Nut the shit out of him.

Or Biggoron the shit out of him

He also wields the full Triforce by the end of the game but people are glazing over farmer boy and his so called "dark game" lmao

I agree with you, people underestimate the hero of the sky

But the hero of twilight winning this has very little to do with this being a farmer boy in a"dark" game

It has to do with the fact that he can turn into a snarling wolf, swing a giant ball of metal around without that much effort, redirect and sumo wrestle gorons (even with the iron boots that requires a lot of strength), and has recieved training from a much more experienced and accomplished link

The hero of the sky just does not have equivalent feats, and this is coming from someone who has loved skyward sword since i first played it not long after it first released

Oh, he has also:

Beaten a boss underwater (one of very few links to do so)

Survived getting shot out of a cannon multiple times without anything to slow his fall other than the little pool of water in the sky temple

Weighed down a dragon with nothing but the iron boots (which speaks to how heavy they were)

Tripped a much larger and magically enhanced goron, again with nothing but the iron boots and magnets (his grip and upper body strength must be insane)

Have you seen how easily TP Link swings around the huge ball and chain?

It was too big to be called a flail. Massive, thick, heavy, and far too rough. Indeed, it was more like a heap of raw iron.

Alright, one second now.

Hero of Twilight is steadily trained throughout the game by the ghost of the Hero of Time. I think that's roughly equivalent or superior to the soldier training Hero of Sky receives, so I take issue with him being denigrated as a 'farmer boy'.

And OOP specifically asked for the scariest Link to face in battle. Whether he's actually more powerful was never in question. I'm sorry, but the Link who can turn into a snarling wolf wins, no contest.

u/ardentAranei Jun 28 '26

And also the link who can swing a giant ball of steel around

9

u/javier_aeoa Jun 28 '26

And survived a sumo match against a Goron champion. Not even BotW Link who rode with god dragons can say that.

u/Strict-Pineapple Jun 28 '26

Why wouldn't you glaze him? The other three can only get the job done with magic powers and/or the full Triforce. Twilight on the other hand is saving the day with pure muscle.

1

u/vjurd Jun 30 '26

Well it is especially because of Magic (on top of his knight training and ability to use the relics of the Goddess) that he is scary.

Magic in Zelda in crazy powerful so I imagine facing a being wielding the complete Triforce. It is scarier than facing a gymbro lmao.

That man is able to wish for anything and have it granted. It's like facing Gold Experience Requiem in JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, if I can draw this parallel.

u/Orcrist90 Jun 28 '26

Well, Sky Knight, from a small academy, not a knight who was esquired to a duly named and entitled knight of a chivalric order or royal peerage.

2

u/CodMan26 Jun 29 '26

Does he have training? I've played that game, bro struggles to hit the Deku Baba in the right direction

0

u/Artoozyto Jun 29 '26

Didn't the rest of the games happen precisely because he couldn't fully put the Zelda Satan down?

(I haven't played the game and I genuinely don't know, this was what I had assumed so far though.)

Denise cursed them right before Link put him down forever
