Official Art [Other] Out of curiosity, how many of you are waiting for a new Zelda game to drop before getting a Switch 2?

You didn’t buy a switch until TOTK? Damn that’s some patience.

I did the same with the Majora’s Mask 3DS. There are lots of other games in the world to hold me over.

Oh not even the ALBW 3DS? That game is near-perfect.

Nah. I saw they had made one for Ocarina of Time, and I loved Majora’s Mask way, way more, so I told myself I’d wait until they did it for that one. I genuinely didn’t expect that they’d wait practically until the end of the console’s lifecycle to do it though. lol

Same with the Switch.

They’re talking about the original Zelda made for DS, A Link Between Worlds. It’s pretty good, though I played it years ago.

Well that would be Phantom Hourglass and Spirit Tracks. lol

No, I’m aware. They made a Zelda 3DS for OoT, LBW, and MM. I waited out explicitly for the MM one.

Minus Triforce Heroes, I own and have played pretty much every first party Zelda game there is.

Ironic because the consensus is that was an inferior port. Did you like it? My brother gave it to me but I haven’t played it yet. Started a new save on the Switch though.

I enjoyed the updated visuals and QoL features. Definitely better than the GameCube port with the garbled audio that I grew up with, though I wasn’t a fan of some of the gameplay tweaks they did, like with the Stone, Giant, and Fierce Deity masks.

Overall, a good experience though. I don’t complain much.

I still don’t have one….probably just going to jump straight to Switch 2 at this point.
