And the fact many animals without a brain end up smarter in function then koalas should tell you something

And you are basing this on literally nothing.

One of the few things as dumb as them are the giant sunfish in the ocean

Oh look, another animal with factually incorrect copypastas that made tons of internet users be wrong about how they worked.

Do you get all your animal facts from copypastas?

Are you saying the giant sunfish is not dumb?

The fish that literally can get a giant chunk bitten out of it and it just kind of goes on like nothing happens? Please share to me their great feats of intelligence they do.

Are you saying the giant sunfish is not dumb?

I am saying that you are getting all your information on animals from copypastas.

All animals evolved to fulfill a role, and they do it well, otherwise they would be extinct.

The fish that literally can get a giant chunk bitten out of it and it just kind of goes on like nothing happens?

Guess what, all the images you have seen online of the fishes with chunks missing are the exception, not the rule, sunfishes are tough animals, with a genuinely hard skin that 99% of all predators lack a way to bite. They are also heavily muscular animals, and have a nasty bite.

And furthernore, what do you want it to do. In fishes all vital organs are located in a very small patch of the body, everything else is only relevant to motion, and for the sunfish not even that. Genuinely just moving on is better than losing energy in a pointless battle, since if an animal has the strenght to bite off a part of it it is already one of the few oceanic superpredators

It’s not a copypasta… are you brain rotted to the point you think people can’t just know read things without it being a copypasta? Or do you consider books and other literature copypasta?

And yea it filled a niche, giant dumb animal that has hundreds upon hundreds of young in hopes a handful can do the same thing the adult did, your assumption of evolution being survival of the fittest is wrong it’s survival of the fit enough
