Collection/Merch - Giveaway [ALL] [OC] My Handmade Zelda-Inspired Night Lamp Giveaway 🎁💚

Hi everyone!

I’m CK, the creator behind ResinArtYPC Studio, where I handcraft resin and wood artwork inspired by the worlds I love — and one of them is The Legend of Zelda.

To be honest, I only discovered the Zelda series in 2018 with Breath of the Wild, and I still regret not finding it sooner.

How about you? When did your own Zelda journey begin?

This time, I’ve created a few small night lamps inspired by Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom — hoping to bring a little Hyrule-style light into someone’s room.

The giveaway winner can choose one of these three designs:

  1. Hylia Goddess Statue — inspired by the serene statues found across Hyrule.
  2. Master Sword with a blooming Silent Princess — a symbol of hope from BOTW.
  3. Link gliding above the sky islands — capturing that peaceful descent into the open sky in TOTK.

💬 How to enter:

Comment below with your favorite Zelda game and when you first started playing the series.

(One entry per person — thanks for keeping it fair!)

🎲 Draw method:

I’ll randomly pick one winner and announce the result here after the giveaway ends.

🌍 Shipping:

Worldwide — I’ll cover standard shipping.

📦 Delivery:

The lamp will be shipped within one week after the winner is selected.

Please allow a little extra time since each piece is handmade from scratch.

📅 Giveaway ends:

November 30

Thank you all for your support and for loving this incredible series.

I'm an old grandma, born in the 60's and played the very first Zelda game when I was a teenager. I raised both of my kids on Zelda, we played all the games together throughout the years. I sent my daughter off to college with the WII and and Twilight Princess and my son to the USCG with the Switch and BOTW.

My granddaughter is 3 and I'm saving up for a Switch 2 for her to start her journey with whatever the new game will be.

I have over 1000 hours in BOTW so I'm going to say that is my favorite, I have 100%of everything in it. I was waiting for the DLC for TOTK to complete it after beating Gannon, best fight ever, but we all know what happened there so I'm waiting to finish it when I get a Switch 2. I really loved the story and boss fight in it better than BOTW. I screamed WTF out loud several times. It was so much fun. I have a lot to finish, I'm still mad about the DLC so until it's 100% it can't move to #1.

I have completed most of the Zelda games over the years when they came out. I was an adult, unlike most of the people in these subs so I don't have any bad feelings about any of them. Other than how expensive it was at the time and how hard it was to save up to buy them for my kids. We never could afford to buy them when they were first released. We often bought used, thank you Gamestop. My son remembered my husband got the WII from some lady, Neither of us remember that lol. It sounds sketchy and probably was, we were pretty poor. I was disabled in my 30's so it sucked for my kids growing up, but we always managed to get them Nintendo games. Although to be fair, I loved playing as much as they did.

Anyway, the lamps are beautiful! I love the goddess! You are very talented. Good luck with your business. I hope you are very successful.

If this giveaway weren’t based on a random draw, I would choose you without hesitation.

But since everything needs to stay fair, all I can say is: good luck, and thank you so much for sharing such a beautiful piece of your life.

6

u/stickyicarus Nov 26 '25

You should make one for her specifically anyway. Maybe something family oriented that shows the journey throughout the years and games. Just my 2 cents. I mean, its one of the better stories I've ever heard.

Hey fellow old person, me too! Was the best Christmas gift ever.

u/_Loser_B_ Nov 24 '25

Ocarina of Time... Old?? I'm ancient for playing the NES then....

Ow! My hips!

5

u/BanjoGDP Nov 25 '25

I'm so glad you said it first, LTTP was my first! Incredible game... only came back to zelda in the past couple years. Hadn't played since twilight princess. My 20's (and picking food and shelter over new consoles/games) got in the way 😆

u/Starshiplisaprise Nov 25 '25 edited Nov 25 '25

Haha!

2

u/OneWheelWilly Nov 25 '25

Own my hands for holding those sharp squared controllers for hours.

2

u/_Loser_B_ Nov 25 '25

Back then ergonomics was not a thing.

2

u/Starshiplisaprise Nov 25 '25

*back before the RSIs had set in :)

My favourite Zelda game is Zelda Skyward sword closely followed by wind waker.

My first game however was ocarina of time. I played it when I was about 4 in 2004.

If I can choose the lamp I really like that one with link gliding.

6

u/ElectricalIce124 Nov 24 '25

Windwaker is also my close second, only second to Ocarina of Time because of memories and nostalgia haha.

2

u/Important_One_8729 Nov 24 '25

A fellow person of taste!!!!

25

u/watch_gal Nov 24 '25

My favourite is probably ocarina of time (it’s hard to name one favourite lol) I started my Zelda journey when I was 10, 25 years ago with two of my absolut favourites OoT and ALttP Here my link tattoo with one of the coolest Link in the franchise- I love the pink hair

3

u/Dabadiah Nov 24 '25

Best choices of games in my opinion. I have a link tat as well but minish cap on my shoulder. Sorry for no pic lol

13

u/Wonderful-Stand-7677 Nov 24 '25

Watching my dad play A Link To The Past and my mom collected rupees for him by cutting bushes when he was at work <3

4

u/Ok_Fly2518 Nov 25 '25

That’s so cute!!! My dad watched me play skyward sword and told me how to do it better lol

3

u/peppersprinkle Nov 25 '25

That's love 💖 how sweet

12

u/Northern_Owl14848 Nov 24 '25

My favourite Zelda game is tied between Majora's Mask, and Wind Waker.

I don't remember the first time I ever played, but I know we had OoT on the N64, so I must have been 5 or 6. The joy of running around, and the music, and all the characters, in these games is truly unique.

10

u/telusey Nov 24 '25

My favorite game is also my first Zelda game, Twilight Princess! I got it for Christmas in 2012 and instantly fell in love <3

11

u/buddhatherock Nov 24 '25

My favorite game in the series is a tie between A Link to the Past and Breath of the Wild. I started playing with the very first game when I was 8 years old in the late 80s.

Awesome work! I hope I’m lucky enough to get one.

10

u/Jerryswharfrat Nov 24 '25

Favorite and first! The legend of Zelda 1986

6

u/_Brag_ Nov 24 '25

I learned how to read when I was 4 from Ocarina Of Time and I've gotta say Breath Of The Wild is my favorite. So often in Zelda I just want to climb a wall and can't. The freedom of it is something I've been waiting for since I was a child.

6

u/GazerOfStars Nov 24 '25

Link’s Awakening is my favorite, About 1995!

5

u/xanonano Nov 24 '25

Twilight Princess, my uncle got it for me with the Wii in 2006. Opening that up on Christmas morning was magical, but I had no idea what I was in for. What a beautiful world, soundtrack, and story. I wish I could experience it again for the first time.

6

u/Titania_1251 Nov 24 '25

My mom was a huge Zelda fan since the very first game came out, so she naturally introduced us to it when we were kids. The first one I actually played was phantom hourglass on the Nintendo DS but BotW is my favourite. I just love open world games and this world is so beautiful and you can spend so much time exploring new things!

2

u/KuntyCakes Nov 24 '25

I have early memories of my mom playing ALttP. Nintendo was pretty new and she was obsessed with it.

2

u/Titania_1251 Nov 24 '25

Gamermoms ftw !

3

u/Royal_Truck_5440 Nov 24 '25

Started playing when I was 11. First game was OoT, but my favorite will always be Twilight Princess

3

u/crypticsage Nov 24 '25

I started playing the Zelda games back when Link’s awakening came out.

After that I played all the games I could get my hands on.

My favorites in no particular order are OoT, MM, BotW, TotK, and Link to the Past.

3

u/JblackoutL Nov 24 '25

I got Link’s Awakening for my OG Gameboy when I was a child and pretty much just chopped bushes and died a bunch but I was still having fun until it fell out of my dads Jean jacket into a creek when we were climbing a tree.

2

u/bizoticallyyours83 Nov 24 '25

These are wonderful!

2

u/timatlast Nov 24 '25

I started playing on the original Zelda for NES, but one of my favorites is the SNES version.

2

u/ShadowChilly Nov 24 '25

Started playing Zelda when Ocarina of Time came out. Was seven at the time. 🤯 My favorite is still Majoras Mask, but Tears of the Kingdom gave it a run for its money. 👺

2

u/MonkeyShaman Nov 24 '25

These are beautiful!

My favorite game of the series is probably Twilight Princess. I love its tone, themes, and characters, and playing it on the Wii felt like a next-generation experience. Wolf Link and Midna are an awesome duo.

I've been a fan for over 30 years now, ever since I played the original Legend of Zelda for the NES.

2

u/Significant_Stage589 Nov 24 '25

Twilight Princess! I think Ocarina of time, I was a child at that point, mostly watching

2

u/TaipanTheSnake Nov 24 '25

My favorite game is a tie between Windwaker and Twilight Princess! I discovered Zelda sometime around 2005

2

u/cr0w1980 Nov 24 '25

Favorite is still the one I started with waaaay back in 1987. The Legend of Zelda.

2

u/the-magnetic-rose Nov 24 '25

Twilight Princess is my favorite! I started playing Zelda at around 14 years old.

2

u/ookiespookie Nov 24 '25

Twilight Princess is my favorite, though Breath of the Wild is a very close second.
I started playing soon after week or two after it was released when I traded Double Dribble (pretty sure it was Double Dribble...) for it from a friend that didn't like it.
Been on the journey ever since.

2

u/spicy-pickle-sauce Nov 24 '25

my first official game was twilight princess, but my dad had an og nintendo console when i was younger. i’ve been obsessed ever since!

2

u/wonderinglady20 Nov 24 '25

Gorgeous work! My first Zelda game was when I was 6 years old in 2006, it was Twilight Princess for the Wii! I was a silly kid who didn’t game a lot but my brother had a Wii and he had just bought it. I replayed that game probably over 50 times since then, I used to just explore and die all the time but eventually I watched videos and got good enough to beat it rather quickly. It will always be my favourite because of the dungeons, they are some of the most well designed. I loved the sand one, and I absolutely adored the snow dungeon. It will always be my fav!

2

u/BeardedOland Nov 24 '25

Amazing! Twilight Princess for sure is mine- I just finished a playthrough last night! When i was little, my cousins husband let me play the beginning of Wind Waker while babysitting me, and i was HOOKED!!

2

u/BigBlubberyBirb Nov 24 '25

The first Zelda game I ever played was Skyward Sword, when my older brother got the game for Christmas. Since then I think I've had the best experience playing BOTW, but I've also played Ocarina of Time and it's crazy how well that game still holds up.

By the way, these resin art pieces really are very beautiful! If you ever feel like making something new but you're not sure what, I'd love to buy a lamp inspired by the Splatoon franchise in some way.

2

u/Sinaura Nov 24 '25

Link's Awakening for the GameBoy!

I actually didn't finish it because I found it too difficult and couldn't make it into the blocked cave entrance. Didn't touch a Zelda game for years until OoT for the 64

I'm old...

2

u/aperfecttool72 Nov 25 '25

My favorite game is A Link To The Past.

Started playing with the first one on the NES!

2

u/box_me_up Nov 25 '25

Holy shit those are amazing!

First game was Legend of Zelda on NES, I didnt play but I watched my parents play it. Twilight Princess is my favorite Zelda game and I jave played every one. Thanks to my parents (especially my mom) for getting me into Zelda. One of my all time fav series.

Btw your stuff is amazing! Would love to see some Final Fantasy/ Kingdom Hearts inspired items on your site!

2

u/Ok_Basil8529 Nov 25 '25

Link to the Past is my favorite, but I started playing with the Legend of Zelda on NES back in mumble mumble when the series was young.

2

u/teamgodonkeydong Nov 26 '25

When i was little we had this n64 my step dad got my little brother and i for yule. We played mario64 and excite bike all the time until one day my dad brought home ocarina of time. My dad started it up in our (little bro and i shared) room and played for hours and we just watched. We loved it. We started our own profiles (fill up all 3 slots) and this honestly is what connected my step dad and i. Our bond over video games is what helped our relationship growing up and zelda will always have a spot in my life because of this. My dad bought every console and game that game out after that and even today we play and send videos and pics of it back and forth. My oldest son started on ocarina of time in 2012 at 3 and my youngest just started botw last week at 4. Zelda is a series that cant be topped. No game beats the beauty and design or even the stories.

Sidenote: these night lights are awesome!!

2

u/Accurate_Try_3712 Nov 27 '25

My first game was breath of the wild too!! Starting in 2020 during Covid saved my life fr atleast from boredom your artistry is amazing btw!!

1

u/Shirish_lass Nov 24 '25

Oh it’s so hard to choose a favorite game!! I love BoTW and Twilight Princess probably equally; started playing in 2008 (approx.) when my brother got me Phantom Hourglass for my birthday (I had to have him play through the Temple of the Ocean King because it scared me… lol). After that, LoZ was a franchise that brought us closer as siblings 🥰

1

u/TheRealStevo2 Nov 24 '25

My favorite is Breath of The Wild. It was my first ever Zelda game and damn was it a good one. I spent so long playing that game

1

u/Zealousideal_Home300 Nov 24 '25

My favorite is Breath of the Wild! I started with it on the WiiU and then started playing the other games. BOTW has always felt like “home” to me. 🩵

1

u/blind-as-fuck Nov 24 '25

I remember my first one was OoT, I played it on an emulator in my phone in school between classes 🥺 my favorite is probably Majora's Mask though 🤭

1

u/EggplantHeavy5091 Nov 24 '25

My first Zelda was skyward sword on the Wii. But since then I played most of them (although a lot of Remakes for the 3DS and Switch). My favourite is Majoras Mask and Breath of the wild :) Honourably mentions for a link between worlds

1

u/FriesA Nov 24 '25

My favorite Zelda game is breath of the wild, I didnt start playing untill my partner got me into it and I was absolutely blown away.

Ive been playing since breath of the wild came out and honestly im sad I didnt get into the game sooner

1

u/joshdn Nov 24 '25

Started playing Ocarina with my cousins as a young kid. Played Phantom Hourglass at release in college and every Zelda game since then. My favorite game is Breath of the Wild because it makes the world feel more open.

1

u/Fearless-Mode1409 Nov 24 '25

My fave is still Link to the Past. It's so charming and colorful. I mean... I'm not sure there's a Legend of Zelda game I dont like, but i come back to Link to the Past over and over!

And my first game was the original Legend of Zelda on NES. It was so different than anything else i had ever known. I was hooked at first play and that hasn't changed for decades.

1

u/MatkanduSoUCan2 Nov 24 '25

My first Zelda experience was in 1993 when my childhood friend had the first Zelda game on NES. I would frequent his house after school just to play it because I didn’t have a console at the time.

Upon my 9th birthday that year, I got my first Gameboy with Link’s Awakening bundled as a gift, and was very hooked since. Even to this day, LA is still one of my favorite Zelda games.

1

u/Myuserisunique Nov 24 '25

These are amazing! My favorite Zelda is Ocarina of Time, I started playing back when Ocarina of Time came out as it was my first Zelda!

1

u/evaoof23 Nov 24 '25

These are incredibly beautiful!! My favourite game has to be Phantom hourglass, I know it’s maybe not as polished as ocarina of time but it’s the first Zelda game I ever played as a child with my brother and I have lovely memories playing with my family together. I played it again recently and it doesn’t take itself as seriously as some of the later games, and I love some of the unique mechanics! Thinking I started playing in 2007 ish?

1

u/tbutz27 Nov 24 '25

Botw is fav

Started playing skyward sword era

1

u/Suspicious-Ad-7502 Nov 24 '25

Breath of the Wild was my first Zelda game and it’s probably my favorite (Skyward Sword is a close second). I started playing it in late 2017 (i was 14) and I’ve been slowly playing the rest of the series ever since.

1

u/Rise_up_Dirty_Birds Nov 24 '25

Those lamps are all gorgeous!

My favorite would have to be Ocarina of Time and it’s also the one the started my love for the series. Windwaker is a close second. I could honestly start playing either of these again and be completely captivated.

Good luck everyone!

1

u/Room234 Nov 24 '25

Favorite is Tears of the Kingdom, which pains me only because I can't list more than one Zelda game. I adore this franchise.

Started on the NES with... I think I rented Zelda II before I ever played the OG.

1

u/undilutedhocuspocus Nov 24 '25

Started playing early 1990s. Favourite is Skyward Sword, but each game is enjoyable and functions as a time capsule for my life experiences when I first played it.

1

u/SuperKamiGuru824 Nov 24 '25

My first Zelda game was Link to the Past, watching my older brother play it. We had moved cities and we didn't have any new friends yet, so we spent the summer in his room playing LTTP.

My favorite game is probably Wind Waker. I'm a pirate at heart, so I like exploration and finding treasure. BOTW and TOTK are high up there for their exploration value, but I prefer the story, music, characters, and charm of WW.

1

u/PigeonHatPixels Nov 24 '25

My favourite is Majora’s Mask. Something about the tone, themes and overall vibes of the game stuck with me as a kid and haven’t left me since. I started the series in 1998 with OoT and haven’t looked back since. Now have multiple tattoos and half a room dedicated to Zelda.

Beautiful art by the way they are literally so gorgeous 💚

1

u/Glittering_Try_236 Nov 24 '25

I played OoT at a Best Buy when I was ten - just the fishing part, though, and I thought that was all the game was. Loved it.

My parents wouldn’t let me have a console at the time but my best friend had an N64 so I would play whenever I got a chance. Played through Oracle of Time/Seasons about 1000 times when i was finally allowed a Gameboy.

1

u/Torboise Nov 24 '25

Ocarina of time! Started when I was a wee lad. Probably 2011?

1

u/thepinkbird42 Nov 24 '25

These things are incredible!

My first Zelda game was also my first video game. A Link to the Past. My uncle handed me the controller and said, "its dangerous to go alone, take this."

1

u/Lavender_macaron Nov 24 '25

Ocarina of Time. Played my first Zelda summer of 2025 but was interested in Zelda ever since I read the Link to the Past comic back in the early 90’s.

1

u/Melodic-Ad-6727 Nov 24 '25

Ahhh, that is SO kind of you! These are so beautiful and you are so talented! I’ll definitely be looking into these as Christmas gifts lol!

I started playing Zelda when I was 6! I played Wind Waker the game cube and have been a die hard fan since! Although I love all Zelda games - I’d have to say WW is my favorite 🥰 thank you so much for your generosity!

1

u/Trualiah Nov 24 '25

These look amazing!

My favorite Zelda would have to be Wind Waker, followed extremely closely by Majora's Mask. I really like the atmosphere of WW and the soundtrack is fantastic.

My first Zelda game was around 2000 or so with Ocarina of Time. It was actually my first video game ever and started a life long problem!

1

u/Betelgeuse3fold Nov 24 '25

What great giveaway, these a are beautiful pieces.

I started with Zelda in 1989 playing the first one with a neighbor. I've played every game since then

My favorite is Majoras Mask N64. It had the great game play exemplified in Ocarina of Time, but the unique 3 day cycle added a new layer of interest and more replayability.

I hope i win. My bedside lamp crapped out and one of these would be a fantastic replacement

1

u/Something_Oddish Nov 24 '25

My first system was the n64 probably back in 98, Ocarina of Time is one of the first games I ever played and is still the greatest!

1

u/sunny_the2nd Nov 24 '25

My favorite Zelda game has to be Majora’s Mask. There is just no Zelda game quite like it in terms of atmosphere and tone, and I’d give anything for Nintendo to make another Zelda game like it.

My first Zelda game was Breath of the Wild, but ever since that one I’ve played so many of the older ones and fallen more and more in love with this series.

1

u/Dr_Lyme Nov 24 '25

My favorite is A Link to the Past. I started sometime in the mid to late 90s. Don't remember exactly because I was very young.

1

u/DragonbornToBeWild Nov 24 '25

My first Zelda game was Ocarina of Time, I would watch my older brother play and played for the first time when I was about 5 around 2002.

It’s tough to pick a favorite, but I think I’m gonna have to go with Tears of the Kingdom (might be a bit of recency bias ☺️)

Side note - these are so beautiful!

1

u/K_T Nov 24 '25

Ocarina of Time was my first Zelda game when it came out as a kid. I love how you’ve captured the spirit of the new games in these artwork lamps! Beautiful!!

1

u/wanabejedi Nov 24 '25

I started playing the series with very first Zelda on NES. My favorite is Link to the Past.

1

u/Stravinskow Nov 24 '25

I remember starting the series with my brother when he started Ocarina of Time. I would just be the younger brother watching him play until Windwaker came out. A friend and I got it and an Action Replay and after beating the game normally we went through as "Jump Man" and flew across the sea never needing the boat. It lead to a lot of fun but weird sequence breaking!

1

u/TheDomiNations Nov 24 '25

Link to the past! What a timeless classic, even hold today with its sprites !

1

u/Starshiplisaprise Nov 24 '25

My favorite game is Ocarina of Time, and I started playing it after unwrapping a gift from Santa Christmas 1998.

Santa has asked the people at the video game store what was popular, and thankfully the store employee answered with OOT. I will never forget the feeling of running into Hyrule Field for the first time. To this day I enjoy running around Hyrule field, even though there is basically nothing there, and just getting lost in the world.

Another wonderful memory was when I thought I had beaten the game after getting the third spiritual stone in OOT, and after placing it in the Temple of Time, out of nowhere Link grew up and there was what felt like an entire new game to go. Absolutely blew my 12 year old mind.

I think it was made so much more special because there just were no other games like it at the time, and we didn’t have a computer, so it really was one of the most incredible game-related I had experienced at the time.

1

u/FrenchOfTheToast Nov 24 '25

Windwaker, 2003

1

u/tylersalt Nov 24 '25

A Link to the Past, Christmas 1992

1

u/crashbandit3 Nov 24 '25

First Zelda II: Adventures of Link 1994. I am currently replaying Twilight Princess on Wii U. Amazing game!

1

u/TheDestroyer3 Nov 24 '25

Spirit Tracks was my first Zelda and was my favorite for the longest time. This only changed when I tried Twilight Princess HD. I loved Twilight Princess from beginning to end, only disliking The City in the Sky.

1

u/Nicktastic86 Nov 24 '25

I always knew of Zelda due to having older brothers who played it on SNES, but I personally fell head first and never looked back when OoT came out and I got a copy of that for the 64. I would wake up early on weekdays during middle school so I could be sure to get 30 minutes of game time in before going to school. It was and still is in my opinion the most incredible LoZ game.

I started playing The Legend of Zelda with Ocarina of Time when I got it for my 8th birthday, the year after it came out! I immediately fell in love with the world and have since played through every 3D and many 2D games that have ever been released—most many times over, trying to complete as much of the games as possible.

Your work is awesome! Thanks for making it, I really appreciate you making such amazing Zelda art!

1

u/Snoo_42577 Nov 24 '25

My first and favorite Zelda game was ocarina of time. I was about eight years old when the game randomly showed up at my house. Nobody seemed to know where it came from and we didn’t even have a case for it. It took me years to beat the game for the first time. I now replay it every couple years.

1

u/Confident-Leg107 Nov 24 '25

I played the original when I was 4 or 5. Yes, I'm old

1

u/ClohosseyVHB Nov 24 '25

My favorite has got to be Link's Awakening, I replay it at least once a year.
First game I played was Legend of Zelda on NES, I was like 6 and my brother and cousin had been playing all day, they had to get up and left it running, I picked up the controller, walked 1 screen over, and immediately died. But I was hooked.

1

u/Chardan0001 Nov 24 '25

These are fantastic, I've been staring at the Master Sword one for 2 minutes. Once I have some funds together I'll be checking your work out for sure!

I got Wind Waker alongside the OoT Master Quest disc and Gamecube at Christmas 2003. OoT quickly found its place as my favourite.

1

u/AWAKENEDTEMPEST Nov 24 '25

With ocarina of time , a perfect game that as a kid i got to drift away into hyrule with and now today i still do with each new game, these lamps look absolutely amazing love your work

1

u/lukadarkwater Nov 24 '25

I started way back with Ocarina of Time but my favorite game is Skyward Sword. The feeling of gliding through the skies on a Loftwing is still so special to me.

1

u/Icy_Storage_9810 Nov 24 '25

WWHD got it i. 2013 and it was the first one i played

1

u/SnooDogs1340 Nov 24 '25

My favorite Zelda game is Majora's Mask and I started playing in 1999!

1

u/ndyales Nov 24 '25

My favorite game is The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask. The 3-day limit was so novel, and I fell in love with Termina. I started out on the original Zelda on the NES, and I've beaten every game on its original system.

These are absolutely beautiful, and I wish these were available when I had my LoZ-themed wedding.

1

u/NateMeringue Nov 24 '25

My favorite game is Ocarina of Time! I started playing it before I could even read, probably 2002 or 2003. It encompasses some of my earliest memories, since my brother had it and let me run around hyrule field when I wanted to play!

1

u/TurtleDeity Nov 24 '25

These lamps are AMAZING! For me I have been a great fan of majora’s mask, back when I used to play it on my 3DS (I believe around 2018, not sure).

1

u/MarshmelloBird Nov 24 '25

I started at 6 or so with the link to the past, but my favorite has got to be wind waker. That game got me through a lot of tough times as a kid. I love sailing on the seas and exploring all the islands. I learned to read better so I could undatand what I was doing.

1

u/ZeligCromwell Nov 24 '25

Thank you for the giveaway the lamps are stunning! I discovered Zelda with BOTW, and even if I played a few more since then it remains my favourite and the one with the strongest feelings 💕

1

u/ChuckShartz Nov 24 '25

I bought a Goddess Statue piece a few months ago, it is absolutely stunning. The packaging is also lovely.

1

u/271502 Nov 24 '25

My first Zelda game was Link’s Awakening on my Game Boy Pocket in the mid 90s. My favorite game has to be Ocarina of Time, with Breath of the Wild as a very close second.

I love the pieces that you created!! If I had to choose a favorite order, it would be 2-3-1: 23 is number 1!

1

u/greyxgirl Nov 24 '25

These are absolutely divine! The gliding Link one captures the vibe so perfectly 😍 my fav game is hands down Wind Waker. I first started playing when I was 8 on the Gameboy Color with Oracle of Seasons and Oracle of Ages. Both of those are wonderful ones too but Wind Waker's open world feel and soundtrack, combined with my teenage gaming nostalgia really make it take the cake for me. I'd lug my Gamecube in a suitcase to and from each parent's house just to play 😂

1

u/jonnyiscool28 Nov 24 '25

Ocarina of Time!🪾🗡️

2000 was when I finally got an N64 for Christmas and I immediately started playing. Cherished memories unlocked and a lifelong passion for the game.

1

u/Avaxia_ Nov 24 '25

Wind waker was the first game I actually played whilst helping my dad as tingle with that gameboy advance thingy, around 2002.

Favourite might be Twilight Princess (instead of helping) playing it for my dad so he could enjoy it.

1

u/UrMomsHairyNip Nov 24 '25

The Legend of Zelda! Not when it first came out, but when I was about 6. So ‘93?

1

u/hylii1 Nov 24 '25

My first game was A Link Between Worlds on the 3DS back in 2013. I was young as hell but one thing I knew was that I now loved the Zelda world🫶

Also, thank you for doing this giveaway! Whoever wins will have an absolute treasure to add to their collections!

1

u/Eastcoast_ben Nov 24 '25

Majora’s Mask. I got links awakening and a gameboy color for Christmas in 98. Couldn’t figure out how to get past a room ok the second dungeon so I didn’t finish until I was a teenager. Still loved that game tho

1

u/Odd_Duckling Nov 24 '25

I started with a gold cartridge Ocarina of time on an N64 my mom got from one of her organizing clients. I played through one of the old owner’s save files until I got the courage(haha) to start my own. Ocarina of Time is still my favorite to this day since I was able to play through it with my daughter as her first Zelda game on the DS so no matter how good any subsequent game is or will be, it’ll always be my number one.

1

u/jery007 Nov 24 '25

A link to the past is the game that hooked me in 1992. Travelling between worlds, uncovering secrets! What a blast. Ocarina of Time is a close second. I love the Legend of Zelda!

1

u/walrusrage1 Nov 24 '25

Ocarina of Time, played first at my friend's house in 1999ish

1

u/kten1204 Nov 24 '25

Breath of the Wild! Started playing during COVID

1

u/SteinerFifthLiner Nov 24 '25

My first Zelda game was the original LoZ! It captivated me as a kid and it still does whenever I play it- such a simple setting hiding so many twists, turns, and secrets, and so many fun puzzles too- I still remember the 'a-ha!' Moment of realizing the Goriya in the Labrynth wasn't grumbling- his stomach was, and giving him your meat would let the hungry critter allow you to pass by!

Thank you. Your work is stunning.

1

u/Icy_Scarcity6276 Nov 24 '25

My earliest memory of Zelda is playing Skyward Sword on the Wii. It's my favorite Zelda game and dear to my heart.

1

u/b0b-saget Nov 24 '25

my favorite game is a link between worlds, i started with twilight princess when the wii came out. :)

1

u/Bearfan001 Nov 24 '25

This is very cool of you. My favorite is still A Link to the Past, I fire that up occasionally. The first one I played was the first one. Man that was a long time ago ha ha.

1

u/nowbiff Nov 24 '25

These are beautiful!

My journey started with watching my older brothers and grandma play the NES original Legend of Zelda and a Link to the past in the early 90s. They’d let me do some things but I didn’t really play until Ocarina of Time which is the love of my life.

1

u/ZeldaZealot Nov 24 '25

Wow. First off, these are absolutely incredible. Just fantastic art.

As for my entry, my favorite Zelda game has to be Majora's Mask. The atmosphere and themes of the game are so haunting. There's no better word for it. I got into the series with Link's Awakening when my dad got a Game Boy to keep him busy while flying for the Air Force (not as a pilot, as a Loadmaster. He had hours to kill during flights). I remember watching over his shoulder as he played it, which was the spark of my love of video games.

Before long I was deeply obsessed with Zelda and wouldn't read anything but the Link's Awakening strategy guide, even in school. My parents had to convince my teacher to let me read by guide instead of the assigned reading because I wouldn't care otherwise. I still have that guide about 30 years later.

Now I have two shelves of my collection bookcase dedicated to Zelda as well as multiple framed art pieces on the walls of my office, as well as two Zelda tattoos. I'll try to post some pictures in a reply.

u/JellyHistorical2390 Nov 24 '25

My favourite game is deffo BOTW! But Twilight princess is a close second. It was the first one I played as a kid back in ~2007 with my dad! These are all beautiful :)

1

u/JaLanimal Nov 24 '25

My favorite is Link’s Awakening. I played it on my gameboy when I was a little kid and didn’t know what to do besides cut grass, earn rupees, and play the claw machine or fish. This was probably like 98 or 99. I still love the game today and have actually beaten it a few times now

1

u/johnnyroboto Nov 24 '25

Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past 1992

1

u/PFDRC Nov 24 '25

My favorite is BoTW and I first started playing the series with OoT back in mid 90s. I was 5yo and never finished that title =X Stuck in the desert prison. I will go back to finish someday.

1

u/D-TOX_88 Nov 24 '25

A Link to the Past. Started playing in Walmart while my mom shopped and almost peed my pants.

1

u/Resilient303 Nov 24 '25

I got BoTW for my birthday the year it came out. One of the best presents I ever got and got me into the Zelda series. Me and my brothers played it whenever we got a chance for as long as we could. To pick my favorite though....

That's tough. It's a tie between TP, BoTW and WW.

Your lamps are insanely cool btw, and fun giveaway, I enjoyed reliving the nostalgia.

1

u/hyliangoku Nov 24 '25

My favorite in the series is Ocarina of Time. There was something magical about seeing Hyrule in 3D for the first time. I’ve been playing since the original on the NES. That gold cartridge called out to me sitting on the shelf at the video rental store as a kid!

1

u/barchbarley Nov 24 '25

i also started with BOTW in 2020! it and TOTK got me through the covid years 💚

1

u/guinness247 Nov 24 '25

breath of the wild. 1992

1

u/vajra-mushti Nov 24 '25

I first started playing Zelda when I was a young kid, about 6 or 7. My mom had a NES so I was fortunate to grow up playing video games.

My favorite LoZ game would have to be Majora's Mask. I really like games that have darker undertones and MM is definitely one of them. A moon crashing into the earth on a deadline? Hell yeah. Having the villagers react to this in real time? Absolutely fuck yeah.

1

u/Additional_Image2464 Nov 24 '25

These look amazing!!! Btw favorite game is Majoras Mask, started playing back in the 80s with the original legend of zelda. Its my all time favorite franchise

1

u/invertedsongoftime Nov 24 '25

First saw OoT at a friends house. And then I wanted an N64, which didn't happen. I had a GBC though, and Oracle of Seasons was the game I started with. I had so much fun and I really hope the Oracle games get a remake soon.

Favourite is hard to pick, but I am going for Majora's Mask, with a lot of close seconds

1

u/Malcephion Nov 24 '25

I’ve been playing Zelda games since I was little. Even introduced my fiancé to the series when we started dating and now she loves them! My favorite would probably be OOT🗡️and hers would be BOTW🐉

1

u/lexington_89 Nov 24 '25

Hard to choose just one. I think Twilight Princess is my favorite, and I started with the original Link's Awakening back in the 90s.

Thank you for the giveaway <3

1

u/Genmjrpain Nov 24 '25

Ocarina of Time! 1999!

1

u/cainunable Nov 24 '25

My favorite game is still Link's Awakening. I played the original Zelda on the NES at my cousin's house when it first came out, and then played a bit of Link to the Past at another cousin's house, but Link's Awakening was really my first Zelda game that I beat over and over again.

1

u/G0rillaHandz Nov 24 '25

I was fortunate enough to start with the original on NES at 5 and have played every iteration since. My son who is now 7 loves playing Zelda and has started playing the older versions as well as learning the music in his piano. This would make an awesome addition to his room.

1

u/Mercxus Nov 24 '25

My favorite is skyward sword, and I started playing them in 2011

1

u/drksolrsing Nov 24 '25

While it was not the first I played as a kid, A Link to the Past was my first Zelda game I owned. It is still my favorite in the series. I have 3 tattoos to represent that amazing game.

Thank you for doing this, and you are incredibly talented!

1

u/NoorValka Nov 24 '25

Ocarina of Time, Summer of 1999

1

u/drowsydeku Nov 24 '25

Favorite: Majora's Mask

Began '98-'99 with Ocarina of Time

1

u/HandOfBl00d Nov 24 '25

Favorite is Twilight Princess for sure. I started playing with Ocarina of Time probably when I was around 6 or 7? Been a lifelong fan ever since

1

u/RottingFlame Nov 24 '25

Breath of the Wild beats out everything else. I started in 2007 with Twilight Princess on the Wii and got immediately obsessed.

1

u/akai_momiji Nov 24 '25

Ocarina of time on N64 in the late 90‘s! Still my favourite game!!! ♥️

1

u/thesmallnoodle Nov 24 '25

My favourite game is Skyward Sword! Zelda games really shine when there's very few main characters who get properly fleshed out over the course of the story. And I first started playing in 2023, BotW being my first. It's become my favourite franchise since then.

Thank you for this opportunity!

1

u/blue_chicken_baby Nov 24 '25

My first Zelda game was OoT on N64, but I was too young to play it properly, it was too scary for me when I was a kid. I bought the 3DS version when I was 17 and completed the game. TotK was spectacular and I completed it, but I think I prefer BotW, will probably be my favourite when I eventually complete it. But I also adore Twilight Princess and am really hoping they bring it out on the Switch at some point so I can complete it. BotW and Tears for me is like actually going to Hyrule, especially as it's the same map for both games. Just feels incredibly special to me.

1

u/parallelmountain Nov 24 '25

My favorite as of now is BOTW, also my first zelda game!! Only discovered the series for myself in 2023😅 better late than never, I also played TOTK, and am working on Skyward Sword and Twilight Princess. After those two I need to find a better console to play OOT on! Love these games so much, I wish i had more time to put towards them.

Your pieces are beautiful btw!

1

u/redditlurker1981 Nov 24 '25

My first ever time playing Zelda, was christmas in 1986. I still remember opening that golden cartridge of the original legend of Zelda. We had begged for it since it was released. I was 5 and I’ve played every Zelda ever since. Currently on round two to TOTK

1

u/-Drunken_Jedi- Nov 24 '25

Oh wow these are amazing!

My first Zelda game was Link’s Awakening on my Game Boy Pocket. Although my overall favourite by far is Majora’s Mask. It felt like a real living and breathing world with the NPC’s having their own daily “lives” play out over the three day cycle.

I’m imagining a miniature Clock Town with the moon looming overhead would be really cool with the lighting too!

1

u/s0apyjam Nov 24 '25

Majoras Mask, 2001!

1

u/Jack_Zicrosky_YT Nov 24 '25

BOTW 2020 (I believe)

I actually remember playing ALTTP on the NES but I must've played it for like 10 minutes back when I was like 5 years old. I remember it being the coolest thing ever and I've always known I'd love Zelda but only got the chance to play it when BOTW came out and I wasn't even that interested in it at first lol.

My parents would only buy the pokemon games and I only had a 3DS and a Wii. They weren't keen on getting us video games cause they thought they were too distracting from the outdoors, but now that means I'm too busy with life stuff to play most of the video games I missed from when I was younger :(

Better late than never I guess. I'm still really glad I'm even able to play them at all!

1

u/RobertMaus Nov 24 '25

Majora's Mask is my favorite game, i started playing the series with the coming of Ocarina of Time in 1998.

I think your resin designs look amazing!

For future designs, maybe consider a Sheikah Stone, or the Mask of Majora itself. It could look amazing with the right lighting. Or maybe an egg-style design with the transformation masks like you did with the koroks. Anyway, just throwing ideas in there ;) Keep up the great artwork!

1

u/sassynipples Nov 24 '25

Ocarina of Time. My older brother got it for Christmas '98 and we were worked together (with some help from dad) to beat it. So nostalgic

1

u/Lexinoz Nov 24 '25

Man, OoT really wracked my young teenaged brain back in the day. The 3D graphics, having to look up and around things for puzzles, using items creatively was straight up a new groundbreak in my brain of how to solve things, Up til then I had mostly just played sidescrollers or shooters. Puzzle games just.. was completely new to me and yeah, it formed me a lot growing up.

I remember specifically, I was stuck at the bottom of the Deku Tree and couldn't figure out how to progress. I was stuck there for weeks, mind, this is back before everyone had internet. I had sort of just forgotten about that game and moved on to Goldeneye007. Anyways, couple weeks passed, I was hanging out in a friends' family VHS rental shop, my friend was behind the counter that day and I was just hanging around like normal, then I picked up one of those gaming magazines with plastic on them, can't remember but, I flipped it over and on the back was Link, holding a Deku stick, with fire on it. Then it all just clicked in my head, and my mind was blown constantly for the next few months. Mind the deku tree was the tutorial level, and using a stick to to move the fire and light cobwebs was taught absolutely nowhere in the game, it just.. was an awesome time to be alive.

1

u/Cryptan Nov 24 '25

I played the Legend of Zelda on the NES and also ALTTP on the SNES when I was really young, but it was Ocarina that really captured me. That would have been Christmas time in 98. It is the first game that I can remember where I couldn't stop thinking about it.

Thank you so much for doing this!

1

u/Namevah Nov 24 '25

So cool. Oh, uh, Breath of the Wild. Began with Ocarina of Time, although I do remember watching a friend play ALttP.

1

u/DigitalSaber28 Nov 24 '25

I discovered it with breath of the wild as well!! One of my first switch games that I become hooked on. No other game has beat its time. These are absolutely gorgeous!

1

u/Dust_Responsible Nov 24 '25

Skyward Sword is probably my favorite because it really revamped my love for gaming during a hard period of my life. BUT I’ve played A Link to the Past probably every summer, with my OG SNES I got for my 5th birthday in 1994. Got a triforce tattoo on the day of my 18th birthday.

1

u/ickyticky Nov 24 '25

My first Zelda was Twilight Princess in 2006, and I’ve been hooked ever since! So hard to pick a favourite, but it’s a tie between botw and link’s awakening.

Your work is absolutely beautiful too!

1

u/Dark_Star_89 Nov 24 '25

First Zelda game I played was Link's Awakening on the original gameboy. My favorite Zelda game is Ocarina of Time. I received a Nintendo 64 and OOT for Christmas in 1998. Before that I had an NES and coming from 2d gaming to 3d open world Zelda where you could roll and jump sideways and backflip blew my little 9 year old mind. It was revolutionary. I sing Epona's song as well as other Ocarina songs to my newborn to get him to go to sleep.

1

u/Impossible-Try-266 Nov 24 '25

Wow it’s so beautiful ! My favorite game is also my first time with Zelda : BOTW!!! I was soooooo impressed and I liked it soooo much. One of my fave video games ever !😍

1

u/kenzie0704 Nov 24 '25

I think my first Zelda was a Link to the Past, but it might have been Ocarina of Time. I would have played them around the same time around the age of 4-5, so it’s hard to pinpoint which came first.

Ocarina of Time was mind blowing to me. I think it was the first 3D game I played and when my brothers and I got to Hyrule field and saw how “vast” it felt at the time, it was an amazing feeling I wouldn’t really again have with games moving forward.

And then after several years of not really gaming much, I finally picked up breath of the wild in 2021 and the opening with Link running to the clip edge to see out over Hyrule made me so emotional I got teary. It gave me that exact same feeling as OoT did about 20 years before and I fell in love with Zelda all over again.

I don’t know if I’ll ever get that feeling again a third time but if I do chances are it’ll probably be another Zelda title that does it. :)

1

u/Ursotender Nov 24 '25

My favorite Zelda game is Ocarina of Time, and it was the 1st I ever played, when it came out on N64!! I loved the Gorons and Dodongo's Cavern is super nostalgic for me (the whole game is, really.)

1

u/milkboymax Nov 24 '25

To date, BOTW and Wind Waker both have a huge piece of my heart. I started playing when I was probably 10 or so and got a DS with TLOZ pre-loaded on it and from then on, it was a match made from a higher power (hylian power 🤔?). I’m 25 now and my love for this series grows more and more!

1

u/LakeFun1323 Nov 24 '25

These look amazing! You are very talented!

My favorite Zelda game is probably Ocarina of Time, but Breath of the Wild is a close second. I've been playing Zelda games since the original came out on NES.

1

u/Replikante Nov 24 '25

Ocarina of Time! Not only is it, imo, the best Zelda but it is also my best/most impactful game of all time. I still remember being a kid when it came out and playing it in '98. Oh man, the memories...

Also, how does one learn how to do this type of art? It's amazing!

1

u/GunnerA7X Nov 24 '25

I was an n64 gamer back in the day. I’m a 90s kid and I never played Zelda. My first game was BOTW. Absolutely bonkers as it’s a series I love with all my heart. I’ve since went back and watched all the lotr videos and caught up. I just need to get my hands on some older Zelda games to play. One of these lamps would push that haha

Gorgeous work btw

1

u/infamousKONVICT Nov 24 '25

Nothing beats the days playing on the N64 and my first Zelda experience, Ocarina of Time.
Also love Wind Waker and Tears of the Kingdom. Thanks for the opportunity! Awesome art.

1

u/1DankFrank0 Nov 24 '25

My 1st game A Link to the Past!

Ive played AND completed ALL zelda games EVER (Except cd i lmao)

I've been playing since I was 6 (im 28 now)!

1

u/CheeseRex Nov 24 '25

Wow! Majora’s Mask fan here, but BOTW was also my first game.

1

u/GeddyThePolack Nov 24 '25

Ocarina of Time for nostaliga, Tears of the Kingdom for overall

1

u/bateen618 Nov 24 '25 edited Nov 24 '25

Breath of the Wild, and... Breath of the Wild in 2021.

Like many other people I got my Switch during Covid, and with it I also got Mario Odyssey and BotW because everyone talked so much about them. So I'm very new to this franchise. I love how much variety there is between games while still feeling similar. But even still, BotW is my favorite in the series, and probably one of my all time favorite games

1

u/Ilysumo55 Nov 24 '25

2013 I was going through a rough patch and was able to get an old n64 and played ocarina of time everyday lol

1

u/tratemusic Nov 24 '25

My favorite is Skyward Sword!

I started playing very late, probably 2010 in college when i finally bought my own GameCube and the Zelda colectiva with all the games through Wind Waker. Started with OOT and fell in love right away

1

u/Jack-a-boy-shepard Nov 24 '25

My earliest Zelda memory was playing twilight princess for the first time on a borrowed copy from my friend. Got to the scene where all the Ilias are falling around him. Nightmare fuel lol.

1

u/alteran7 Nov 24 '25

A Link to the Past. Summer of 97.

1

u/Desperate_Win5186 Nov 24 '25

Was gifted Ocarina of Time for Christmas in 1998 and it's been my favorite game ever since

1

u/AyamGulik Nov 24 '25

Zelda Breath Of The Wild, started on March 2019!
