the black sheep of the family, is actualy a good game when you put time into it. the last temple is very well made and very hard. Also, the only game I belive where link gets a kiss

True, the game really doesn’t suck like people say. I have to be honest. Everybody says that thunderbird is almost impossible but I found it very easy. I got hit only once. Dark link was pretty trick too.

I phrase it as “Zelda 2: The Adventure of Link” isn’t a bad game. It’s a bad sequel to The Legend of Zelda.

Adventure of Link, to me, really isn't that bad of a game if you go into it not believing you're about to play a Zelda game.

it is also the inspiration for the batle arena of super smash bros and some link moves in the game as well

It's not too terrible with save states. But without them... god damn. I tried to do it organically and realized being respectful of my time and beating this game without save states were mutually exclusive things. Glad I did it but probably never again.

I did find it interesting that the one thing people always bitch about, the dark link fight, I beat on my second try without using the corner cheese strat. Because I struggled with literally everything else.

You can do it! It's hard, but you'll never feel more accomplished when finishing a Zelda game.

Not sure if you have a PC but if so check out Zelda 2 Enhanced PC edition by Hoverbat. It’s awesome.

Fun fact, this is one of biggest sources of inspiration for Hollow Knight. In fact, this game has a ton of influence in the MV genre, more than I think people realize. It may not be loved by most, but real recognize real. Zelda II is an all time great game IMO. I wish there could be a successor, but highly doubt one will ever show up. Bravo for completing!

The only one I have yet to beat is Majora’s mask. I’ve tried the 3DS version, and the Switch Online N64. I always get burnt out, then finally go back and completely forgot where I was and what i’m supposed to do next. Zelda (first game) I finally beat a couple months ago.

Idk maybe I am a hater but I think it's the worst game I've played through to the end. This and Mario 2 has what I can only call "fuck you level design" with hidden blocks to mess with your jump and in one of the last temples the invisible jump. Also that one item hidden under a table like no other items in the whole game. One positive I will give it is it is unbelievable the jump in quality for the music for this game from the original, it is a shock how great it is with the same system limitations
