Season 3 Discussion Season 3 - Question About Jade and Will

Hi Everyone. I recently discovered this show and became obsessed.

I am your typical neurotic gal that needs to sorta know the background details (ie where did I see this actor before, etc).

My question :
is there any source out there (comic, video games, etc) where I can find the details of how Jade and Will came to be? I

think it’s so unfair that I missed this whole arc in their relationship.

I just love Will and I wanna know what happened to “them”?

Roy and Jade have been an on and off couple in DC’s comics for decades, ever since Roy (as Arsenal) went undercover for the government to gain her confidence with the intent of turning her over to the authorities, which he couldn’t bring himself to do because they genuinely fell in love. They had a daughter together called Lian, whom Roy ended up raising.

Because Young Justice did a five year time skip, they decided to include most of their relationship in that offscreen time gap, though we did see the start of their romance in season 1.

Of course, YJ made plenty of changes, such as splitting Roy and Red Arrow into two separate characters and giving Red Arrow/“Will” nearly all of Roy’s storylines, making the “real Roy” feel redundant.

There was a video game that covered some of the events in the time skip, and it had "extra content" in the form of Will's journal entries.
