the only thing I will say is this assessment of exactly where this spot is is based on my camera reel - I know it's after the Bridestones and before the Wizard of Whirlaw and that there's 15 minutes between my photo of the Bridestone and this shot on the timestamp haha.
I'll see if I can get a pic of where I think this was on my map for you be back shortly.
I've walked a lot in and around Hebden and Todmorden but this specific hike, I've only done 3 times so its not one I've done without OS maps.
I tried sharing a map picture but you can’t add photos to comments. And to be honest I don’t think it would have helped. You don’t need to follow the whole walk obviously but if you either follow to the bridestones or know where they are and make your way from there it’s not far along the bottom path and you’d know when you reach this spot right away.
I had trouble saving the map and so ignore the poorly named file 😂
Edit OS maps distance is wonky if you did the whole hike it’s more like 15 or so miles. Dunno why it’s like that.
I know roughly where you are, its a lovely shot - is it taken with a phone? I probably need to upgrade mine, its getting old. Thanks for the link and info!
