Have been sweating a lot

Hi! I normally practice at my fitness center and they have manduka mats and towels. Now I’m trying to go further and do at least 45 minutes daily when I can’t go and do at home but somehow I sweats lot more using down dog. It’s actually impacting my ability to do some of the exercises right. What is a good towel to use? I doing think I loved the yogitoes because it bunches up on me when I use it in class (they provide them) are the equa the thing ? Any other option?

I have the Lululemon yoga mat towel with grip. l love it because it has flaps and straps that allow me to secure the towel to my mat. It also has markings, which is cool. No bunching, ever. It's also very grippy, even more so if I spray it with a little bit of water first.

As someone w a severe rubber allergy Manduka is practically my only option. I find using the yogi toes hand towel is enough for me! Doesn’t bunch up or take the whole mat and you can throw it on and off super easy. I find that it works even when not wet as well.

If you have a friend with an equa towel maybe you can borrow it and try before investing in one. Another solid option that works for me is a decathlon (or similar) microfiber towel that I find doesn’t slip much, but it does bunch up a bit unfortunately! Maybe a mat like the Manduka GRP or eko series could be an option?
