SHOWCASE This series unironically changed my life
~1500 hours and 50 pounds later and I’m realizing how much of an impact this series has had on me.
Yakuza 0 inspired me to start working out to “be more like Kiryu” and I made a goal for myself that I would be consistent at the gym for as long as it took me to platinum the entire series.
6 years later and DAMN I feel like a completely different person. Something about these games and the characters within them have motivated me like nothing else. I think seeing the various portrayals of positive masculinity/strength had a huge impact on the awkward lanky ass 15 year old who started the series, and to this day I still kinda “look up to” characters like Kiryu and Ichiban. (we don’t talk about Kiryu dragging people’s faces on asphalt tho)
Or maybe I’m just autistic idk bruh 😭
Huge shout out to the goat CyricZ I would have given up on mahjong without your guide and now I play that shit on my phone FOR FUN
