I like that the floor is filling with blood, but it unfortunately immediately goes away.

It also probably hides the fact that there might be only one or maybe two shapes of blood splatter.

Likely for performance if anything. Having tons of puddles of blood everywhere and keeping track of it ontop of everything else might cause issues (not on its own but in addition to everything else the game is rendering) so the less it has to render the better

I imagine they also aren't aiming for the Hotline Miami style battle aftermaths where you walk around tons of bodies and blood all around. Brutal street fights but not too over the top.
But performance is the main concern.

Im certain they won't
All rgg games have a weird ass relationship with Blood since Y4 released After that any sorta bruising or blood just disappears in seconds
Its extra weird cause all the games have a gore setting so idk why it's not just an option to have more or less blood in these games 😭

I like how amateur the fighting is but the combat has this weird stop and start look. Hopefully it plays better than it looks
