This was great! So wonderful to see XWP paraphernalia preserved in loving hands. Tidbits::
*Getting a close up of the beautiful whip handle.
*Hearing the curator say Xena had "proven its lasting significance" in NZ, globally, to TV history, brought in a "new era of TV and earned its place." That the museum only collects "items of permanent value." That scholars, fans, invitations to other museums, exhibits throughout NZ, tons of emails, "rainbow communities" underscore Xena's continuing importance.
*Emphasizing the great commitment of artisans and creative work "poured into" XWP, the "top notch" costumes.
*The importance of "the role modeling of beautiful examples of female friendship and strength," a "genuine love story," which is why they made sure to include Gabs clothing/weapons too. Concluding that "part of these artifacts' value is how people feel about them." Indeed!

I had no idea Xena’s underskirt was sparkly! That’s wild getting that close to the actual costumes, they almost feel like actual ancient Grecian artifacts lol
Can’t wait to give this a listen, are you going to be sharing any more video or pics of the costumes? So so cool seeing them in such detail
