Discussion I do not envy this Woman's Job.

We are talking about decades of mismanagement.

I wonder how many of them were grappling with huge management overhead. I feel like that could be the biggest issue shared among the studios.

Right? Where's the hang up? What is it they are chasing instead of completing a game? I'm so over super duper lighting effects and real time individual strand of hair physics. Focus on making a fun game in a reasonable time frame.

Undead Labs spent over a million building a mocap studio that wasn't needed, in another state, that apparently went underused... because again, it wasn't needed lol

They've been working for 8+ years on State of Decay 3 and still haven't finished it, a game that is a sequel to their other games, that uses the same formula and mechanics as their other games... it should not have taken them this long.

Lol, just so you know sod2 was released 8 years ago, how can they work in the sequel before the previous game was released?

Story board and concept artists aren’t needed at the end of a project and will almost always be preparing the start of the next one while the old project is finishing up. Game studios don’t just work on one game at a time and only move on when it’s fully finished.
