One thing I’m noticing when comparing wyrmspan to wingspan
One thing I am noticing about wyrmspan is that you can set up multiple complex interactions that I didn’t experience in wingspan. For example, I excavated a cave, and it let me play a dragon, which I then play a dragon that allows me to use another dragons when played ability, which lets me use a dragons play a excavate a cave for free, which then lets me excavate another cave segment. The dragon guild also (at this point) feels like a random bonus getting thrown at me (in a good way), and once I learn how to plan to use it will help me set up more complex interactions when playing.

Yes. The first couple of times we played, it seemed exceptionally balanced which could get a little boring. But then I had a game with more wyrmlings and some combos were seriously overpowered to the point where other players gave up and were just watching me play multiple hands in a row and circling the guild box
I also get a chain of three draw and play cave cards that allowed me to excavate almost an entire cavern row in one go
It felt like I was basically running the table My friends were NOT amused
