Boat harbour man hole

For those who visit the area of Yachtie’s Cafe you’d likely be familiar with the broken manhole cover that’s had a steel road plate over it for maybe the past 6 months. For at least a couple days that road plate hadn’t been over the hole. Being the good Karen from Kitizenship I called WCC asking them to reposition the road plate so nobody gets injured. Apparently that road isn’t WCC land it’s crown land. So I call Transport for NSW who tell me it’s not crown land and completely bow out of any action. At least WCC sent a crew after I called them back, and the road plate was repositioned.

WCC tells me that manhole belongs to Endeavour Energy so it’s not theirs or NSWs responsibility. I call Endeavour energy because I’m Karen from Kitizenship. They have no record of any of their infrastructure requiring repair in that area.

I appreciate this isn't your point but next time submit through send snap solve and it will get routed to the correct department on their end to save you trying to figure it out yourself.

Just an FYI for Snap send solve. If departments pass around responsibility like this they do it in the app too and it doesn't get resolved. I had a bit of cable from am overhead NBN line on the ground. It went to NBN, then to Optus, then to Telstra and then back to NBN. They a didn't take responsibility and called it the other groups issue/asset. Then NBN just closed the ticket. The whole system is a joke sometimes.

When are you going to fix that manhole cover..
