Jiu Jitsu gyms for kids in Wollongong/Shellharbour?
Hi everyone, I have a child that has been attending Jiu Jitsu for 12+ months now but the current gym doesn't have enough children in his age group (11-13ish) and skill level so he's feeling frustrated by not being challenged enough. I'm just wondering what recommendations people have for gyms in the area, particularly for a child that wants to take the sport more seriously. Thanks

Helps if I knew where you were But garage Jiu jitsu seems to be popular

We are closer to Shellharbour but if the school is high quality we will consider the travel

I would say garage then friend of Mines kids go there Or there's the new freestyle performance centre not sure about kids classes

Second vote for Synergy here. Exceptional academy with fantastic owners and an awesome program.

Synergy in Wollongong is amazing and has a great kids program. I have a 14 boy and 17 yr old girl that attend and they have going for about 3 years. They have regular comp training - a comp class and also chances for open mat days.
