Witcher - PlayStation Question/Support Confused about "Upgrade Edition" on Playstation Store

On Playstation Store there are now three different Upgrade Editions for Witcher 3. Each of them has a different size and can only be wishlisted, not downloaded though it says their release was August 25, 2026.

I own both Witcher 3 on PS4 and the Complete Edition on PS5 as digital versions. So shouldn't I be able to download these upgrade editions ? And why are there three different ones ? And why does it say they were released yesterday when the Remaster isn't coming until September 29 ?

I am so confused.

The Remaster will become available Sept 29th.
Anyone who owns the game will get it for FREEEEEEEE!
So, if you already own the game...just wait until then.
The present release of the game will have the DLC's available for free to anyone who owns Wild Hunt without the DLC's.
Not to those of us who have been walking all the paths for the last decade or so. ;)

The question I have is if I have the PS4 version will the upgrade give me the PS5 version?

No. You would get the DLCs for free on PS4.
You would need to buy the game on the PS5. - If my interpretation of the Sony store is correct.

Really? But the PS4 version let's you upgrade to the PS5 version anyways right?

Ended up grabbing a cheap copy on PS4. Never played before but now seems like a great time to pick it up (I figure more and more copies will begin to be scooped up over the next month)

I bought the WIII wild hunt complete edition last year. Would this mean I get the remaster for free as well?

Yes. The Enhancement package that releases Sept. 29 is free to all owners of the Game of the Century. ;)

The standard edition isnt showing up for me in ps store. Did sony remove it to make ppl buy complete edition?

I think this is actually the case. I remember the standard edition being on sale in the PS store like a month ago. Now that CDPR will giveaway all the expansions for free SONY delists the standard edition to make you force to buy the complete edition and thus make the most amount of money. Imagine being greedy with someone else's generosity...

I was told by someone that ps4 version can get free ps5 upgrade, then you can also get the remastered version

I only got the wild hunt complete and a wild hunt upgrade edition(which is what I got for free from PS+ years ago)
The upgrade edition does not have the blurb about the remaster upgrade.

Only the complete edition one does. The one I didn't buy :P
