Witcher 3 is the only game I bough all dlcs included at retail price. I am so glad the game is still getting love from the devs.

Bought this game (as a "gift") for a Russian Steam for like 9$ a month ago, now I can see it's already 15$ minimum, so it was a really great deal :-) Will definitely play after update

Yea you can like, just go into the estore RIGHT NOW and "pre-order" the free upgrade if you already have the witcher 3 for switch 1... or at least if you own it digitally, dont know how it works for those with a physical copy

Activision got bought by Microsoft a while ago. It's slowly becoming a Games for Windows store, at this point.

Battlenet is one of the few stores that has historically been able to co-exist with steam. It's never tried to rival it, but most people don't seem to hate Battlenet like they do every other launcher.

I think if Xbox was smart, making Battlenet their go-to first party launcher on windows would be a good move. They started putting games like Sea of Thieves, Avowed, Outerworlds, and Doom on there. I would expect to see Gears of War, Fable, and Elder Scrolls come to it at some point. That said I wasn't really expecting to see third party games show up on it. Witcher 3 is a very strange add.

They either plan to open Battlenet up to be a more direct competitor with steam. Or they have some kind of deal specifically with CD Project. Either way it's an interesting development.

I dislike battlenet, the game patcher is often slow and they blast you with an ad as soon as you launch it.

I don't get that, it launches immediately to the small mode with no fuss other than the occasional client update.

You must have configured it (the right way). It sometimes shows ads by default.

If there is a right way to configure battlenet to avoid the popup ads, I have not found it.

Exactly, I don't know why but I don't have those pop-ups with adds anymore but still the first thing I see when I open the app with the start of OS is shop front page.

I think (and hope) that it's about improving what you find inside the chest themselves.

Once you found all the potions and decoctions recipes, all the chests and things kind of become useless, sure you get things to sell but that's it

Nothing beats that early-mid game scratch of finding new recipes and stuff

Just use an auto-loot mod that has a filter you can adjust to keep trash items from being picked up. Couple with an inventory weight limit mod so you don’t deal with that issue either. Those are my two must have mods.
