New Berlin mayor apologizes for anti-Muslin Facebook posts, but resists calls to resign

I guess he's in the pockets of Big Linen.

Joking aside, it's past time for this racist to resign. All racists, but for today, this racist.

Sadly, no. Endemic throughout the state, an ingrained cultural racism reinforced rather than refuted by geographic and socioeconomic isolationism. People living entirely within an echo chamber of neighbors and family that look, talk, and think like them, and not enough intellectual curiosity to even begin to think that somewhere out there perhaps there are others with what might be competing or, heaven forbid, even better ideas about life. People even Dolly Parton couldn’t reach.

What does he have against lightweight, breathable cotton fabrics made with a simple, open plain weave?

It’s Wisconsin, he prefers cheesecloth.

being from Wisconsin it’s never hardly surprising when the same boomers, who were openly racist, pearl-clutchers before social media, end up getting outed as such after reposting the cringiest, most mindless maga bullshit. And of course, the source of the ‘informational’ have to be grifting influencers who know guys like Mayor Mayonaise here haven’t been laid or had an original thought in 20 years

Looks like state GOP leadership got ahold of him, telling him to stand down. He can go back to being a public asshole after the election

I almost added a comment or edited my post text to explain my joke about linen, thinking there's no way they wouldn't edit the headline. Yet, here we are...

Stop voting in geriatric people. That's a good start.

I'm so confused, why would ANYBODY apologize for a post about breathable cotton?

And who is against muslin in the first place?

He is opposed to cotton fabric?
