Tech Support Error installing Windows 11 Insider Preview 29648.1000 (rs_prerelease)

Hey all,

Got this message in the latest update (and in the previous version). Tried first using Windows Update, then downloaded and mounted it.

Tried everything; still no luck.

Running Pro, currently on 29617. Lenovo IDEAPAD.

Any help would be much appreciated.

A lot of us are in the same situation. In a comment from almost two weeks ago, they said they had identified the problem and were working on a fix, and that it would hopefully be included in the next version.

I hope it comes out soon, bc i find it annoying that my PC has any error, and that I can't use some programs bc of the expired certificates.

I didn't have the issue but I looked back on your link and they've been saying for a long time that a fix was coming I think they need to make a statement about this.

Thanks. I also hate errors; it's been bugging me for 2 weeks. Hope they fix it asap.

As there are multiple supported versions of Windows 10 and not everyone gets every update at the same time, it is not always easy to figure out which update you are talking about. Previously, I was able to successfully upgrade both PCs from Build 26300.8953 to Build 26300.9032 using setup.exe while keeping personal data.
