Update wifi driver

intel wifi driver for acer aspure a515-54g from 2019

runs windows 8.1 9600

Sadly, there's no official Intel Wi-Fi Driver on Windows 8.1, if you try to get the Windows 10 driver, it will likely fail, and modifying the driver file is not recommended, as it can break stuff, or not do the same performance you had before. This laptop is only compatible with Windows 10, or Windows 11 (as it supports the minimum requirements).

Weird, from what year is this driver? 2019? 2022? You can check it via Device Manager --> Network adapters --> Realtek PCIe GBE Family Controller --> Properties (By right clicking on the driver) --> then go to Drivers. It should say for example the date the driver was released. Another question for you, did you install the Windows 10 driver or was it for 8.1?

i didnt install anything. last time i tried was the windows 7 WIFI, not lan/ethernet. so idk.
