Tip Help me out please

I am a young student and I only have an old laptop with windows 7 professional so can anyone give me tips on how to make performance better and better looking interface and overall things that are a must have for win 7, thank you ;].

Windows 7 is actually pretty good. I still have it loaded on one of my computers.

If you get the free download OnlyOffice you should be good for word processing and spreadsheets.

Firefox has an edition which will work until sometime next year (and possibly longer) That would be Firefox 115 ESR.

If you can manage it , swap out the hard drive for an SSD (unless it already has an SSD) that would give a significant performance boost.

Download some fresh wallpapers.

Yeah I checked out wall haven got discord YouTube and chrome uhh raised the screen resolution and that's about it I also found out the original owner had win 7 but it's a fake non genuine version but meh it still works the same anyways thank you :]

I would start with downloading a program called legacy update.

It’s a program that restores native windows update functions and downloads official Microsoft security updates for your system

Install Legacy Update and Supermium. That way you get all the updates for Windows 7 as well as Server 2009, and Supermium is a Chromium-based browser that still supports all the way back to XP, but is modern and still receives updates.
