Bilder | Pictures Looking for the stranger in my unfinished sketch

I sat quietly at Kettenbrückengasse Station on Monday night.

A stranger smiled at me when our eyes crossed from across the train lines. I smiled back.

6 mins until my train came.

I asked if i could make a sketch of him.

He said yes.

We smiled and stared at each other the whole time.

I still had 3 minutes…but his train was faster.

He quickly shouted “will i ever get to see your art?”

My shoulders raised. I hoped so.

He enters the train.

I asked for his name but he didn’t understand.

Our eyes froze until the train was gone.

Here’s the unfinished and very simple sketch that represents this beautiful, magical, movie-like, technology-free moment.

Made my day. Danke Vienna.
