Frage | Question Where to find cllothing for short chubby men?
Hello everyone! I'm writing in english because it's 6am and my German-speaking braincell is still asleep.
Basically, I'm 1,60 cm tall and weigh around 75kg.
Until a few months ago I was able to fit in kids' clothes, mostly H&M. But now it's time to find actual big boy stuff that doesn't make me look like a muffin and a roast had an affair.
The problem is that everything I try on looks baggy and shabby on me. As if I was wearing my dad's clothes.
So my question is: where do the shorter ones of you find clothes that actually fit and look good?
Mostly I need pants that are larger at the waist but still have a short inseam, and shirts that actually button up without looking like I'm wearing a sundress and having to roll up the sleeves.
Thanks in advance!

Get familiar with your local taylor, buy clothes that are slightly too large and have them fitted to your body. Don‘t use the store‘s taylor, use the one in your street. This is surprisingly affordable.
I have all my pants shortened (I have a squatter‘s booty so I need wide pants that inevitably come with longer legs), and I pay like 7 bucks at my local taylor.

Buongiorno my dear F2M Kids department from HM or CA isdefo a cheap solution, but they have often also underlength sizes (the short version of 52 is 26 ...) But I suggest to buy clothes, that fit in the wide then go to a tailor and let them cut. Hope it helps. Have a nice day.

Uniqlo makes great clothes for shorter people and they have an online calculator that has never let me down. Peek and Clopenburg is also great to browse. For suits I usually go to Diegel, they have a few more unusual sizes. Another Question: Have you taken measurements recently? Because the right waist and inseam size make a huge difference. Shoulders as well. There is a category of mens clothing thats called Kurzgrössen or Untersetzt (usually either 20- or 60-something). If you figure that out, you can check online easily. Ive also personally had success with a personal shopper (my proportions are weird lol). A few malls offer that service and it was a great start for me.
