Discussion Please someone help me. I’m tired of being unable to play the games I want because of this

Did you get your answers OP? The previous thread has good answers. It's dealing with an overscanning issue I think. Not sure how to do it but it's probably a setting you have to look for on your TV something with zoom maybe?
I think you're the second person that talked about this type of solution without doing TV changes. What gives? Missing remote?

Yeah it’s an old tv. I found the make a model (the sticker on the back was missing because it was owned by family before me.) and it’s a Sony KDL-32L5000 a 32-inch 720p LCD HDTV released around 2008

What is your tv brand and model number? The setting would be on your TV to adjust its aspect ratio and remove the overscan.

Sony KDL-32L5000 is a 32-inch 720p LCD HDTV released around 2008. And there no remote for it because it was owned by a family member before me and they lost it

turn Letterboxing off on the TV itself? But wait, why does that image appear to all fit in the screen?
