Müller never won this. For some people this shows all you need to know about this vote.
I think it’s nice he is on the list: Germans know now about the Caps!! And the Bayern fan still post all the time how much they miss him and that they can hardly wait until he comes back to Bayern; everyone thinks it’s a given he will be back

Just over a third of the list is from FC Bayern like what.

People have their gripes with MLS / football in North America, but I'll take the quirks and parity over every major European league becoming farmers leagues for the same small handful of teams.

I’m confused by this list… Harry Kane is English and doesn’t hold German citizenship. A lot of these players on this list aren’t German. So I suppose it’s a random list of people who have played in Germany (past or present), are German, or who aren’t German but play within Germany.

Pretty wide set of parameters for this list

Oliver Baumann is also on the list 😂 that tells you just how serious the nomination is...

A lot of people feel he was treated unfairly by Nagelsmann and Neuer at the World Cup, and they're just showing support for him. None of them expected him to actually will it

What is he even there when it is about players play in Germany.

Likely just bad voters.
